Gavel Dungeons Discussion

Gavel has no unique dungeons in it. The only dungeons in Gavel are the corrupted versions of wynn dungeons found at The Forgery. This doesn't reallyyy make sense because Gavel isn't supposed to be corrupted but then... the only dungeons are corrupted ones. This got me thinking of what kind of dungeons would you guys be interested in if they decide to release new dungeons with the improvements to Gavel.

I like the idea of the Grootslang Cave (Unfinished area unlocked after The Worm Holes quest) it could be a cool concept for a dungeon. Also this large door close to the bandits toll entrance to Thesead pic -> https://imgur.com/a/KLspi . It'd be cool to have a bandit themed dungeon, where you have to fight the bandit leader at the end. Another dungeon that would be cool would be the Kandon-Beda statue, which covers the city of Kandon-Beda. I don't have any ideas for what you would fight in this dungeon, maybe mythical creatures or ancient beings of Gavel? My last suggestion is the door close to Rodoroc, pic --> https://imgur.com/a/DKT3h . This could be a cool dungeon and would most likely contain Fleris' or other lava creatures. I considered Doguns for this one, but it would be odd to have a whole bunch of Doguns behind a Dwarven designed gate.. UNLESS it's a prison of sorts.

In conclusion, I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on possible Gavel dungeons (considering Corkus got a new dungeon) and what you would want to see out of these dungeons. BONUS ROUND: Will Road to Dern have a dungeon or is it too small? Any ideas are appreciated!

 

What if the Dogun War was faked, and all the Duguns were relocated through the portal/gate thing in molten heights to conceal the truth so that the Dwarves could be seen as a force not to be reckoned with by The Queen of Fruma so she doesn't command The Eye to fly from Dern and obliterate the Dwarves collection of giant eggs?

We know of FIVE potential or future dungeon spots: the Grootslang Cave, Dullahan's mansion, Orphion's Tomb, The Mortal Mountain and the Kandon-Beda Colossus. I really want to see these more fleshed out.

Yeah. The possibilities are unique... execpt Dullah. But it could be funny if we had to go trough an extremely thin dungeon mostly built on vertical space, or fight a giant boss with 5 friends and actually have to work together (everybody is still gonna attempt to solo it)

Don't forget that ruined place in the swamps! Gavel has some major dungeon storyline potential, I'm hoping the in the far future we get some of that.

dang, I cant really think of anywhere else in Molten Heights we could see a dungeon though, maybe on the north side something will be added for a dungeon. Still crying that molten heights has 0 quests :(

The Mortal Mountains and Orphion's Tomb are fantastic dungeon ideas! I can't believe I forgot about the RotL, and that one already has a quest implemented!

 

At this point I don’t think we need Gavel dungeons. Don’t get me wrong, some of them did look cool like the Grootslang dungeon, but we already have plenty dungeons up to level 90. Especially since Dullivan Castle and the Grootslang dungeon are only a few levels apart from Galleon’s Graveyard and the Undergrowth Ruins respectively.

 

They could offer more variety though.

 

That still doesn’t mean it’s needed. You can already get carried by quests alone to lvl 90.

 

I enjoy dungeons for the lore/options of play because sometimes I don't feel like doing quests especially some of the boring Gavel ones. It's good for the game if there is different ways to play/level up.
