Between every major update after gavel there was an 8 month time period
gavel 2015 december
8 months later
game play 2016 august
8 months later
corkus 2017 aprill
8 months later
discovery 2017 december
you get the point
in addition to that in a thread grian made about a month or so ago he said there is still a long time before the next update comes out
so I'm betting that the next update will come out in august

They probably break the 8 month tradition, because 1.18 is not only Road To Dern, it including Gavel revamp now.

 

I didn't think the Gavel revamp had been officially announced, I had thought it was just something that the CT was talking about.

Remember, we had a covered portion of the map since last april, so I'm willing to bet that they're probably finished with the map by now. So they're probably working on quests at this point, and since they're not revamping all of Gavel, just the most confusing parts, I'm willing to bet that they'll reach the 8 month deadline

 

Probably after the full Dern update

 

yeah. its just revamping quests. theyre not gonna revamp the entire province like they did this latest update (which is why a discovery update took so long)
