Build What Do You Think Of This Build? Part 10

2 posts in one day? Does this guy have a life? Who knows, he is probably trying hard to get into the content team... And thats what i am doing!

Hello, its me. Moldavite.

Today, I made another build. Its an abandoned village wall! Why am i only doing a wall, you ask? Not because i'm lazy, but because its something that the build team managers look at mainly. They look at simple things like walls, bridges, etc. so they can see what I can do! But before I get into the pictures, I will show you my fanmade lore for it.

"Before the portal, the first village in Fruma was born. Humans found each other, united, and made a village. And over time, they grew more and more advanced, constructing walls, towers, and other necessities in order to make a successful village. But Frumans had heard rumors of an undiscovered land mass, they came to it as soon possible, leaving their village, in search of wealth. They found the island, and named it Corkus. The residents left in the village moved on and created a capital city for Fruma. And now that there were no more inhabitants living on their first village, it became overgrown and run down. But rumors here that it is oddly overgrown. Could it be? Bloomi, the plant province? Just kidding. Its not that overgrown, its just normally overgrown."

Let's break it down, for your path railings instead of just slabs and stairs, add full planks, logs, fences, etc. mix it up! diversity is nice!
The wall looks nice but like I said before, add some Logs! Block choice!

Thanks for the critique! But if you look closely on the wall, there are some log pillars... Guess i didn't really make em stand out... Which i will definetly do, for next time.

I would definitely recommend using a different wood for the pillars to make them *POP* a bit more out

 

Make the logs stand out, add leaves, ferns and grass to the flowerbed, make the vines less uniform but other than that you have a lot of potential

 

You're improving , just a tip tho : it needs more contrast

 

Remove Villages from your Superflat

 

it would improve your chances if you actually built some houses or planned a town, instead of just making a wall.

not a lot of new builders know how to plan out their builds in-game, so it would be great if you did that
