Unique Items

Am I the only one that finds it funny that unique items are pretty common even though they are supposed to be one of a kind?

 

You could say the same for other tiers: Rares aren't exactly rare if they're found pretty commonly, legendaries can't be called legends when some of them are crap, and mythics are supposed to exist in myths yet they've surfaced for god knows how many times in the market?

 

Yeah, but unique means there's only one, rare, legendary, etc don't. Rare can be subjectively rare and legendary doesn't actually mean that it has to be good. Unique, however, is just wrong.

Usually "unique" tier is replaced with "common/uncommon" tier in RPG games.

How many times has a unique had exactly the same magical properties (ids) as another? They are all unique.

'unique' is a Wynncraft code word for 'really cheap weapons that nobody cares about'

 

Unique Items are unique because unlike other items (except a few rares, unique, normal and legendary items). They seem to be bad at being good but seem almost utterly peerless at being terrible. Normal Items take the crown for that though.
