There's a new mythic in town

With a generic rainbow build and perfect Intelligence IDs you can reach 114 Intelligence. Obviously, this might not be too realistic for poorer players (haha you WILL be poor if you buy a collapse) so let's just go with the more reasonable option i.e. 105 Int. That means you'll have access to 2 mana Bash, 2 mana Charge and 4 mana Uppercut.

On the other hand, the melee variant offers 13.3K Melee DPS without any negative defences. Both variants of the builds have access to Courage/Curse depending on player preference.

Keep in mind that this damage can pierce elemental defences decently well due to Slow attack speed.

After the Freedom nerf, it just looks like Archer is getting shafted completely. Fully offensive Freedom reaches 13k bombs while Collapse without going complete glass offers 16k uppercuts and decent survivability. Funnily enough, Archer is an offensive class while Warrior is meant to be defensive.

I will be updating this thread with damage values for the other 3 new mythics yet to be discovered.

 

TLDR: its overpowered

 

This is like Fatal but in a form of an extremely broken spear.
Also that damage might be good and all until you attack something that actually has elemental defense.
Try using Libra + Kratke + Intensity with it.

It has better pierce because it has higher damage base damage than Freedom. I don't see why freedom needed a damage nerf if they were going to literally bring in the exact same type of weapon to another class. Freedom and collapse will still do approx 0 damage to qira tho. I guess if collapse was using curse you could get some high rolls for 1k since you'd be able to pierce better, but the defense piercing issue for rainbow weapons still needs to be changed. Mythics are only overpowered when used correctly, and unfortunately you can't even use rainbow mythics against high defense bosses since 0 neutral damage. *looks at the image of collapse again* Or they can just add neutral damage to rainbow items. ffs Freedom wasn't even OP. Now Warriors have a carbon copy of freedom that just so happens to also have extra strength, guaranteed exploding, massive extra melee damage, and fixes all the problems I had with freedom. This feels unfair to freedom. WS is nice, and extra health is much needed for weak af archers, but Collapse is pure broken. Item Team? Wtf is that? Is that what freedom should have been? If archers are supposed to be the most damaging class, then why is the least damaging class now able to do more damage than the archer with the exact same archetype weapon? I see a discrepancy here.

 

Technically speaking this is debatable. Archers have the highest damaging weapons, yes, but Assassins can technically do more damage cumulatively due to their wider attack range and (generally) faster attack speed. Archers damage is entirely focused on one mob at a time, so instead of say dealing 100 damage to five mobs in one attack, they're dealing 300 damage to one.

 

Freedom has no downsides, this has 6 and they're all enormous. Remember that the negative % health regen actually does something now?

 

Enormous? We showed that all elemental defences can remain positive with a decent amount of SP in defence and agility to go along with the base defence of warrior compared to archer - you’ll be living so many more hits. It’s kinda like saying Gambler pre-nerf was a horrible item because of its -eledef IDs. And 43% doesn’t seem so big to me for -HPR - you’re not even losing health per second.

Wynndata is a little outdated, according to Selvut's post Collapse's damage was nerfed slightly, and the -defense was increased. Maybe it's still far stronger than Freedom, but it's better than nothing.

i don't want to start anything here but i just want to say this,
freedom was getting gma level damage with no downsides. while it gets walled by elemental defense which is considered it's downside, it also can take advantage of weaknesses, which most enemies have.

 

It was only getting 8-17k damage ranges in the calculator. You have to remember: enemies have defenses too. Only with curse was freedom even effective, which means you'd need to charge that before reaching 'critical mass' damage. GMA is constant barrages of heavy earth damage able to pierce even Qira's defenses. The 2 are not the same. One rely's on curse to do significant damage, limiting its usability (especially when you miss your curse, as even soloing LI with it, I can tell you I missed at least 2-3 curse shots), the other is able to spam heavy damage with relatively no drawbacks. Combining GMA with Sano's Care or other high raw regen items completely negates its downside and provides VERY meaningful buffs to defenses. I'd like to say you're wrong, but I can also see how on curse getting a good barrage of bombs out for *potentially* over 100k damage was too powerful, however it still doesn't compare to GMA's raw power IMO. Freedom is more niche, GMA is more all-round / borderline OP.

 

@Major_Lue had a lot of fun with morph freedom x) What we saw in Li with freedom was... to be frank.... quite crazy.

 

I optimized that build as far as I could and found every possible way to make the build better; near perfect capricorn, diamond hydros, diamond fus, 27 SP vaward, 42 SP 110% dam libra. The chances of the capricorn I used: astronomically low (2.4961217e-11). Even being able to get hold of a freedom and running LI enough times before that to get the Diamond Accessories. The build is basically impossible to achieve with the same level of OP-ness that I got because I was dedicated enough to optimizing the crap out of it. Also, morph freedom?

 

Literally take morph set and slap freedom on top and boom you could melt through LI
