Just a curious question, since 4 new mythics are added into the game.

Just as a reference, what I am saying is, if the drop rate of items are based on individual items per mob, or is it based on the rarity itself. For example, if a mythic have a chance to roll only when the game calculates it to be a mythic drop, then more mythics would not make them more common, instead specific mythics would become more rare.

However, if each mythics have their own individual drop rate that does not change, then it would make mythics overall, become more common, since more mythics are available to be selected. However, specific mythics won't change in drop chance.

I would say it is most likely the second option, since all mythics have different drop chances based on their levels.

No. More mythics doesnt mean that drop rate inrecase. So they still expensive nd rare. Like in gameplay update where they added mythic armors and drop rate didint change.

I understand what you mean to ask, not sure how to answer, so I'll try to use an example.

You have a level 100 mythic you can obtain and the drop chance is X. Now if we add another level 100 mythic, the drop rate is still X, but now you could get mythic 1 or mythic 2, meaning particular mythics will become more rarer, but the amount of mythics will stay the same.

That's also simplifying it a lot since mythics have level ranges. Real situation is more complicated, but you get the idea.

EDIT: TBF that's a really good question and I could be mistaken. I'm pretty sure the drop rate is set for a mythic tier, not per mythic. At least that's how everyone ever refereed to it.
