I Haven't Been In A Long Time, And I'm Thinking About Starting Up Again, What Am I In For?

Title says it all except for when I stopped. It was maybe a month or two after the Gavel update, and I just got bored and stopped. I was talking with friends and thought of Wynncraft to try out again. Am I in for a world of pain? Has it been drastically changed since that period? I saw the revamped ocean on the map, how much more content has been added since that period of time? I also never really fiddled with elements, I just kept using my old set, so how drastically do those change the game?

If you have the newer items added with Gavel with elements and whatnot, you can probably come back without much confusion. New stuff has been added such as powders, a new and bigger bank, more quests and some new areas and dungeons.
