Mage/Dark Wizard Help Need A Good Mage Build

I need a good mage build to solo Qira,items for level 97 and under,

 

You should probably get level 100 first. Just saying.

 

get to at least 98 first 100 is recommendable but with 98 you can use this
9.5k neutral dps.
since you havent done qira yet you prolly dont have li stuff either but the necklace isnt necessary for the build to work it just adds a lot of dps
if youve tossed your electro mage boots then anything with a little dex will do
facetious is a weird brace and i used it to counter the -air def but anything will do like binding brace

 

Why wishing star tho

Im a great builder but i suck at cancer taurus

 

ok so the build is actually super niche since you need a -14 taurus and a +13 cancer, so with a dia static neck that comes to a whole whopping +0 tiers
if you use cancer with a weapon that has damage (which is most) it negates that damage and even makes it negative. so if WS has 72.5 average neutral damage, cancer does -7*72.5 and adds that to your taurus' damage. if you remove the neutral damage with powders youre no longer suffering from this
-%s dont affect raw damages directly so we can use taurus for its raw melee and get the full effect and use it at super fast because cancer. cancer also adds that cool 5k poison which is around 1777 dps

so now we a super fast wand with 3+ powder slots so we can get rid of 100% of the neutral damage on it. hey thats wishing star
other super fast wands arent as good for this for various reasons like sp reqs or -life steal. drumstick is close to being as good but only has 2 powder slots so rip

tl;dr: wishing star is the best super fast wand for cancer-taurus because the base damage doesnt matter as long as it has 3 slots and no downsides

 

I know that neutral is the only thing important in cancer builds. But arent there any better wands with super speed?

 

no. there are 8 super fast wands in the game. i can list the ones that fit with the build and include the reasons that make it inferior to wishing star

Drumstick: only 2 powder slots so it has 35 less dps compared to wishing star. thats assuming max raw melee id which you dont have to worry about with wishing star as it's a merchant item
Judas: -750 life steal. dps-wise as good as wishing star
Cerid's Dynamo: lmao level 59 anyway it does fit but is a pain to get and isnt quite as good because wishing star has +5 def and agi that push is just above Cerid's
Zenith: almost forgot lol anyway it also has negative life steal nty

 

Plague Staff? for the +1k poison?
