Wanting To Become More A Part Of This Community.

Ok, so I'm fairly new to the server. What's some stuff I should know? I'm Also not very good, whenever I do stuff my level I get destroyed. Really I just want some leads on research into Wynn and some tips for how to play well. I also am a video creator (like 10 trillion other randoms lel) and I want to know what type of content people in the Wynn community want to see. Thanks.

As for being part of the community, just be active on the forums and talk in chat often.

 

Here are some basic tips that might be helpful:
1) Buy one or two teleportation scrolls for each town. Some quests require a lot of backtracking, and tp scrolls in general can come in handy with long distance travel.
2) Wait until you have 16 le or more to breed horses. At lvl 34, you gain access to horses and you can buy one for 24 eb. Only try to breed up to Black though. Horse breeding is a money sink and it would be better to save up and buy a higher tier from someone instead of breeding one yourself.
3) Don’t use colors for posts. Most people use dark theme, and it really messes up readability.
4) Use the search bar before making suggestions. Odds are that if you have an idea, it’s been done before. Also try to follow the guidelines for suggestions at the top of the page.
5) Don’t hang onto unique or normal items. They cost more to identify than what they sell for, are the weakest tier, and you can easily find a rare or legendary.
6) Wynncraft on YouTube is dead. Period. Everything has been done before, and most of the famous YouTubers left because there is nothing to do. I wouldn’t bother with it.

 

Truer words have never been spoken. Whatever you do, do NOT breed for high-tier horses unless you're rolling in emeralds.

Yes, but that's what makes it good for a starting class. If he keeps getting killed by stuff his level like he said he did, then being a mage would be useful for its healing capability until he gets better gear.

 

I’d personally go assasin. Here’s why:
1) Most assasin weapons hit fast and do great damage. Don’t use any weapons that hit very or super slow. They are very painful and annoying to use, and you won’t be able to kill most things easily because you do bad damage and can’t hit back in time. Being a tank with no damage will not get you far in this game, hence why warrior is the worst.
2) Assasin has zero armor penalty. You’ll take way less damage than mage and archer and have decent survivability.
3) While assasin’s mobility spell is the worst, you can just get a horse and you can get out if a sticky situation.

 

Playing all 4 classes twice, id say that, if you want to go easy mode, go mage. Mage can self heal and can solo basically anything even with minimal skill.

If you want medium difficulty, go warrior. Warriors do decent damage, plus the 2 main spells are good at keeping mobs and bosses away from you.

Id sat that assassin is just warrior but a little harder, less range, lower damage and less tanky; but given changes recently i might say that assassin is a little easier

If you want a challenge, go archer. While early-game archer might be the easiest of the 4, end game is almost impossible doing things solo, because archers almost no solo survivability.

Tl: Dr
Easy mode: Mage, good damage, good defences, self healing

Medium-Easy: Warrior, meh damage, good defences

Medium-Hard: Assassin, good damage, weak defences, low range

Hard: Archer, great damage, no defences, highest range

 

In my expirience,
Mage- Best for Gameplay
Warrior- Great if you have a lot of mana regen
Assasin- The Most Fun
Archer- Great for sniping Bosses and enemies.
Do your Quests
Look for Legendary Items from Chests and mobs. If you're not doing Mage, grab as many healing potions as possible.

 

On top of what everyone else has said, check prices of items before buying something from someone. Most people in the community sell their items at a fair price, but sometimes you'll come across someone trying to sell you an item for more than it's worth. Just use common sense when buying items, and get items price checked if you are unsure whether or not the price you're paying is fair.

That's incorrect. Statistically, it's only slightly more likely to lose out on the price selling a unique to the buyer than a rare is, and they fare just fine. In addition, his comment about avoiding slower items is also untrue. There used to be a glitch involving your swing speed affecting your casting time, but that's been fixed, and now they're great for dealing high damage in combination, especially with effects like Life Steal.

 

Eh, I'd honestly just sell it to IB before identifying... also, there's more rare that people actually buy than uniques..

Honestly, I still prefer faster weapons to slower ones, especially if you are starting, you are easily going to miss if you are going melee.
