Lore/Story Wolf Pack Quest

This is the thread to the Wolf Pack Quest mentioned in my idea to implement Hunting Dogs (check that out in the General Suggestions)

You walk up to an NPC in Nemract

[NPC] Alderoy: These darn wolf packs in Ancient Nemract! They keep ambushing our trade routs and travelers. Say, hello there young adventurer! How are you?
[NPC] Alderoy: See, we've been dealing with a large pack of wolves over in Ancient Nemract, the abandoned area. They seem to have taken over, and are cutting off our trails and traveling roots! Could you help me?
[NPC] Alderoy: Kill the pack, and bring me back 5 Wolf Pelts from the dogs. Once you do, I will reward you with Emeralds and XP!
You go on the way to get to the main wolf pack when you are ambushed by a pack of stray wolves. You defeat them and continue on.

Suddenly, you come across a fallen tree blocking your path. You encounter an NPC named Woodcutter.
[NPC] Woodcutter: Well hello there adventurer! I see you are trying to reach somewhere, but this tree blocks our path. Help me cut it down, and I'll help you across.
NPC gives you "Wooden Axe." You begin to chop down the tree, and eventually break it away.
[NPC] Woodcutter: Thank you very much adventurer! Here are some emeralds for your trouble!

You continue on your way, and make it to Ancient Nemract. You go to a cave where the wolves are, but suddenly, as you enter, a cave-in occurs. You must fight the wolves, take the pelts, and then try to get out through a passage in the back rife with zombies.

Once you finish Quest
[NPC] Alderoy: Thank you so much, young adventurer! This is wonderful! Our trade and traveling can continue at long last! Here's a reward for your troubles!
Player recieved XP and 50 Emeralds. You are now able to buy a Brown dog for 40 EB.
[NPC] Alderoy: You want to buy a dog! Wonderful! I have the perfect one for you!
You press Confirm and 40 EB are taken. You receive a bone labeled Brown Dog.

You are too low a level to do the Quest
[NPC] Alderoy: I am sorry young soldier. This wolf pack is too dangerous for anybody below level 20!

You come back before you get all 5 Wolf Pelts
[NPC] Alderoy: Do you have the pelts yet? Well, hurry!

 

I believe the wolf packs are in Nesaak...

This is a nice idea tho. But what does the dog do (more explanation)

This would've been considered a bad fetch quest even 3 years ago

 

Please @Aarontti, no need to hate. This is a quest, and if you have a better idea for the quest, feel free to comment and actually help out

Believe me, I did consider making Nesaak the quest center, but the issue is, with my idea, you need to be at least level 20, so it wouldn't really make sense to have a Lvl. 20 quest in a Lvl. 40 area.

Maybe you could explain where the Wolves are?
I know they’ in Ancient Nesaak, but where... a house or cave?
Do you fight the wolves when you enter the cave? Or do you pass a series of obstacles before fighting the wolves?

 

Gonna agree with Aaron, this is a pretty bad fetch quest...

If you want to make it more interesting, you could add more action than just "oh hey i need your help bring me 5 magic plot devices." Maybe try having the player tame the wolves instead of, you know, killing them.

Also, if you're intending for this to be a suggestion (though I'm not sure why you put it in Your Work) then you can't just get people to make everything for you. Sure, feedback is good, but you can't expect people to write your whole quest for you.

 

I'm not trying to get people to write my quest for me, thank you very much @HowToZombie. I have already received feedback saying that the quest is bad and a fetch quest, and that I should change it. I am working on it at home, but until I update it, please do give me ideas. And you might even agree that some of the quest Wynncraft already have are bad fetch quests (i.e. Cooks Assistant). If you have feedback, post. If you have hate, don't bother, I've already dealt with a lot.

Created some obstacles from making it so easy.

 

You keep mistaking criticism for hate. Nobody here hates you or your ideas, they just disagree with them.

 

This is a bad fetch quest. Sorry if you want me to say how good this is but it isn't. It's very short and the only thing you have to do is kill 5 mobs. No story either. I kind of like the cutting down the tree idea depending on how it is executed. And just because there already exists bad quests doesn't mean you're supposed to make more bad quests. Wynncraft is constantly removing these bad fetch quests and replacing them with better ones. Don't say this is hate because if you do you're absolutely delusional and can't handle a small blow to your ego. :)
