Roulette and Empire Builder are the only weapons you mentioned that are in the level range I'm talking about (AROUND level 80, not 80-90. I mean like 75-80), and both are severely outclassed. Torrential tide is 6 levels higher, and also the best option for water archers endgame, not including mythics. Meanwhile, items like Wrath, Gert Hammer, Blade of Purity, Agitation, Scytodidae, Caledonia, and all of the aforementioned items (Rewind, Heracul, ETC). Never see use endgame.

that honestly just says more about how broken water is than how weak air is. in pretty much every situation except for a melee build, water outclasses every other element, for every class.

Yeah, because the best bows they have for that combo of elements are Blues Whistle and Firestorm Bellows.

several people I know use empire builder since it has very good damage, especially with thunder powders. Though, I've never seen anyone post a build on it.

I interpreted your level 80 comment as 80-89. Most of those are out of the range you were suggesting. I see that now.

yea cause all those are the *worst* (highly subjective) in their level range or get outclassed by higher level items.

And that's the problem. All items up until around level 85 have higher level versions that outclass them. For example, Spiritshock->Arc Rifle, Rewind-> Slider, Heracul-> alka cometflinger. Firestorm Bellows doesn't have a higher level counterpart, however, so it's stuck as the "best" fire-air bow despite being only level 79. The problem isn't that fire-air is a bad element combo, the problem is that there aren't enough options for it.

it's outclassed by Judas for thunder damage, and by the Hive Wand if you don't want a build with 100 dexterity.

theres Thanos Siege Bow, a fire/air bow for level 82. it is slightly weaker than Firebellows but there still is one besides Blue's whistle so if you think they need a buff, hit up some item team guy and let them know they know about this shit

the problem with having more variety of a certain double element items is that there are a ton of different elemental combinations. 25 2-elemental combinations to keep track of and make items for. understandable imo that some combo would be lacking

 

I've been quite aware of Blues Whistle but here's why I chose Firestorm Bellows over this bow. It's really hard to make a viable fire/air damage build with high mana regen using Blues Whistle because of it's agility minimum 75. Trying to make a build solely based on fire with Blues Whistle results in okay mana regen and intelligence with below average damage. Firestorm Bellows is actually able to achieve the same damage while having better intellgence and better mana regen. The only problem was the negative health regen.

Also, I wasn't aware of the Thanos Siege Bow until just today while I was bored and trying to create an Earth Archer Build with the new bow Alka Commetflinger. I stumbled across the Earth bracelet Thanos Banner which then led to me finding all the other Thanos items.

I said pretty good, of course the mana is not great, but this isn't a full spam build. You can also swap finesse for another suppression. You'd get 12 mr, which is enough to cope with 4 mana bombs, even though 4 mana bombs are pretty good.

Spammy bombs with the same damage as all the other Firestorm Bellows / Blues Whistle builds here.

 

8 mr isn't spammy. you'll get 3-5 bombs then wait to regen not including escape spell and arrow shield costs.

 

You can always get 10/4 mana regen by switching out a reminder for Moon Pool. Just less Intel Bonus. Besides, you can also use arrow storm to resset bomb spam cost.
