Why Does Everyone Hate Eye Of The Storm

It wasn't that bad? Why is it one of the most hated quest

 

I dont know about most hated quest lmao

I dont like it because its long, doesnt fit in with the lore of gavel, and for the lvl, if you havent done it before the boss is a little hard
Not my least favorite but its like, top 10 least favorite

 

Selvut had a whole post explaining why, but for a quick run down:

1) It made no sense lore-wise.
2) Very fetchy
3) Horrible boss (You fight a generic Satan who only has like 1 spell and dies fast)

I could go on, but those are a few of the biggest reasons.

It made no sense linking to existing lore, nor did it add anything that made any sense in general. You stop a sacrafice, go to a run down town to look at a hand from a balcony and then go through a tunnel with a cool puzzle that has no place there. You then go through loads of pointless rooms with no function whatsoever and come to an easy boss.

The "lore" is explained along the way but makes little sense and is generally out of place as it has no relation to anything else in Wynncraft.

 

The quest itself is okay-ish, but it is very disorganized, random and doesn't make much sense. The lore of the quest also has nothing to do anything else in the game.

 

To be honest, it isn't the real quest that's bad, it's just the organization and lore.

What im saying is, these two make the whole quest bad.

 

Selvut hates the quest. A lot. He posted a huge rant about it once and slowly hatred of it caught on.

Tbf though the quest isn't as bad as people make it out to be

Ignoring the lore which most people don't really give a shit since they skip all text, I personally feel the quest is... ok?
Its not absolutely trash but it definitely isn't good

Anyway, as for the quest itself, I didn’t mind it at first, but that’s before I realized all of the inconsistencies in the plot. First of all, why is there a huge corrupted pit in a DECAYED part of Gavel? The eye of blood thing makes no sense, because it supposedly came from the jungle, but in order to summon a pit that big, wouldn’t it had to come from the nether, or at least the roots of corruption?
