Wait, just saw that put two and two together is an expression. x)

 

I found out that 2^8 is the limit of extended ASCII character formats.

Rather than thinking about JP's hint as the build height of minecraft (2^8 = 256), we need to think about it as the limit of ASCII characters. Perhaps this means that the cipher does not use extended ASCII.

Someone who knows a bit more about ASCII please continue this knowledge and find something amazing

 

What if you put those letters into a text file then turn it into a png file?

Did you try a Cesar with the number of potatoes there is ?

 

It won't be a Caesar cipher since there are symbols in it.

 

first guess was that guilds would have custom banners, and their claimed territories will have those marked into those city looking thingies

There's two Mysterious Potato's in Olux. One says its facing Rymek east mid, and the other says its facing Hobbit River.

 

There's a bunch of potatoes in the dark forest and around Gelibord too.

 

Dude they're everywhere, those potatos are there for a week, and there were multiple puzzles in discovering why they are in the world. Is nothing new

 

Hey, Has anyone tried ENcoding the text? Decoding and encoding are essentially the same process done in opposite directions, so perhaps we could do it in the opposite direction?
