Mage/Dark Wizard Help I'm A Water Mage And Have Trouble Beating Some Bosses

So, I have a primarily water-based build, and the fact that I have very little normal damage makes bosses that are resistant to water literally impossible to kill. They regenerate faster than I can deal damage.. Here is my current weapon:

So what I want is suggestions on what I can do to beat bosses such as the boss of floor 4 in the tower of ascension, or the guardian village boss under the lake in gavel.

 

Why are you building at level 80 again? Also, this build would be decent at level 75, but not at 82.

So get some accessories, update your gear(get some level 80 armor and a better weapon(used a variant with Bismuthinite and got 2.9k meteors))and hold off from building until you reach level 95.

Not a pro at this, but just some general advice I've heard.

 

Hmmm ok, so should I try to get a weapon that deals more weapon? And what would be the best way to get one? Buy or grind, and if so, where? (Btw I have about 1/2 a stack of LE)

 

There's a spot outside of Cinfras that gives decent spawn rates and chests, or go to the ice canyon and loot run there. Buying in my opinion is really difficult. Just a weapon revamp won't do, try to gain armor that's around level 80 and compliments your focus.

Is adamantite worth the extreme lowering of elemental defences? Since I have had one for ages but assumed it wasn't worth it...

Ok, so, apparently black catalyst has only negative effects, what does it do? And why do you think sodeta boots are better than my legendary passus lux?

 

basically have 68 intel, as much mr as you can get, and make sure ur not completely glass

 

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is mr and what does "completely glass" mean?

also sodeta has lots of spell damage

 

Complete glass means weak to every element

mr means mana regen

 

mr is mana regen and not completely glass means being not completely glass xD
basically dont be too squishy and have a decent amount of hp
