Sorry if I offended 90% of Bucie fans. But Bucie is basically a li'l humble town in Gavel that isn't even noted down in the wynncrat map (Used to be labelled, but no longer!)

Here, I will label it for you.

Bucie is a small town. The fact that it isn't even a labelled town on the map (not a famous town) is what makes this song even more charming. It describes and captures the peaceful environment of a quiet settlement unaffected by Corruption, Ambiguous Concepts, and Greed. The town is just, so innocent, isn't it?

It is quite sad I never get to hear this in game, mostly because there is no reason to go to Bucie as a Level 100. But if you have heard of it, it is a very beautiful song.

Edit: It is unfortunate that this song has been through some controversy however. I did not know this. It is a song originally composed by SethPRG, with Selvut to help compose it into the game.

This thread isn't a thread as a method of conveying hate or pointing fingers at each other. I will never intend for that to be the reason. Instead, it is for sharing, and celebrating the Wynncraft soundtrack. I will never recognize my cover to be an official cover, as such.

I asked your permission to use that song since you composed part of it and you agreed. Starting with this isn't going to get you anywhere; we wouldn't have put it in if you hadn't. You mentioned on build server when you left that "since I basically rewrote the song" we could keep it in, unlike the few other songs that would've gone in by you.

 

Is there proof of that? No. In fact, you say I've said a lot of things with no proof, so starting with this isn't going to get you anywhere. Even if I did, you blatantly know I told Grian to remove ALL of my music after I got banned, but it seems as if you can't let go of this one song. You're willing to lie to keep a simple tune? Wow. Now what did I do against that? Oh, that's right. I've been waiting a long time for my copyright on the part of the song I wrote to pass through, so whether you like it or not, it's going to be gone. I'd suggest you stay tuned till Friday.
P.s. You really shouldn't be careless with this situation, because I have every right, to at anytime, serve up a fresh lawsuit.

 

We did remove all the songs you told us to. If you hadn't said this, we'd have removed Bucie as well. The reason I asked is to ensure this situation didn't happen, but it seems you're going back on what you told us. I feel as though you're severely overreacting regarding this. Taking out a copyright settlement on a song you composed half of doesn't feel very productive. If I'm being honest, this just feels spiteful rather than anything else. For instance, if you wanted it removed, why didn't you come to us before now, when it's been in the game for months at this point? If it's really such a huge issue that you feel the need to try and sue us over about 37 seconds of music, we'll remove it, but this is extremely suspect.

If you would have done what I said, then every part of my music would have been gone. I assumed you had removed my work a long time ago. I looked at the google doc for the wynn music out of curiosity, and found Bucie was there. I assumed you had changed it and removed my part (which was 936 of the 1493 notes, and much more than "37 seconds"). Later, when I got on quite a bit after the update, I didn't realize the music was updated for a while since I didn't really care to listen to the noteblock music at the time. I eventually threw away that notion and went back to listen to the vast roster of new and updated music, of course finding Bucie. Upon listening to it, I found that it was the exact same as it was before. I checked the google docs and later Xavier's channel to see if my name was credited, but I soon came to the conclusion that I wasn't credited for my part. What could have caused that? Maybe Selvut and Xavier lied saying I had nothing to do with Bucie, all in an effort to keep the song in Wynncraft. I understand, I mean it is a good song, and it would seem pretty easy to get away with. Of course saying you and Xavier did that is just a theory, it's all speculation, and it has many holes in it. You say you asked me if you could have kept the song since it was both ours, yet you have no proof of that. You've said that I have done and told plenty of things in the past, yet these are all claims that you spout out with little to no proof of it. Let's assume I did say that. Well, why would I agree? Ah, maybe it's because I could safely assume I would be credited. But I wanted all of my work removed, no exceptions. However, I'm not such a dick that I would force you to remove Bucie if you would've came to me and asked me to keep it. As long as those two conditions were met, I would let you keep Bucie. But you weren't really that smart, and tried to claim my work as yours. That is BLATANTLY STEALING my intellectual property, which pissed me off. I should have just told Grian at this point to remove Bucie too, or to at least add my name to the song, but I got a bit greedy. You have tried so hard to defame my music and say it's stolen with miniscule amounts of evidence... But I have solid evidence that YOU stole from Me. Stay tuned for the video on Friday! I then had an idea. What if I copyright my part of the song, then threaten wynn? What will that do? 1.) It will expose a few people 2.) It will force you to do one of the following; credit me for making half of Bucie, remove my part and add a new one, remove the song entirely, or allow us both to use the song in any way we wish. I then copyrighted my part of the song and it sometimes takes months for a copyright to go through, but it's finally time. But come on now... I'm 99.99% sure I'm not going to sue Wynncraft. I have the ability to, but why would I want to hurt the fans of the server (whom includes my friends)? Hmmm... For Wynn to hire a good lawyer, it would probably cost so much that it would make Wynn go bankrupt, but Grian gets paid well enough from YouTube that he could pay for it. Players would probably donate money as well, but since I have an overwhelming amount of evidence compared to defender, I would easily win. Just do something about this dude, don't ignore the situation. You could approach this in a much more calm fashion, such as messaging or calling me privately with a few other people to sort this out. I won't do that to you, as I have no reason to. Doesn't make a difference to me whether this a huge public matter, or something private, although I wouldn't prefer the latter, as the first option is more fulfilling for me. If you decide to approach this matter differently, maybe I'd back down from making this such a publicly huge deal. Have a great day.

Most copyright scenarios are hilarious, especially patent trolling. But honestly you're right. I mean stealing my work in such a ridiculous manner is funny as hell, so I did the most ridiculous thing I could think of; suing a large corporation, which is funny as hell. Well, is it even a "large corporation" if it only pays like 5 people? Huh

I am a raging lunatic. I know this.
As I stated I have no reason to settle this privately unless they want to come to me about it. It doesn't matter if it happens privately or publicly, they can decide that with where they send their messages. I'm only doing this publicly to get back at Selvut for trying to defame my reputation as a composer saying I stole music from him, and people believe him when he has very little proof on the matter. For example; he says I copied a riff from one of his songs. The entire basis that I stole the song was based on literally 4 notes. Again, this will all be in Friday's video... I'm willing to fuck my reputation here as it's definetly not going to affect me much (as long as I don't take extreme measures like actually suing wynncraft) now that I'm about to leave this block game for good. If it ends up biting my ass somewhere else, that's my problem for another day.

I'm seriously wondering why the staff and players rarely sort things out. [I.E. Wynn Enhanced, that was blown out of proportion so much]
Although Im grossly unqualified to talk about these things, it seems that whenever the players and staff get into arguments it gets blown out of proportions immensely, usually in the case of someone getting banned, their work removed, etc. Both sides are very aggressive about this, but I swear whenever incidents like this happens it's always over the tiniest things that the staff refuse to accommodate, which then leads to the player getting angry and vice versa. instead of very passive aggressive forum posts, I would say to work it out but that never happens for some reason.

I can't disagree with your statement. You are absolutely in the right for saying that, and I am most definitely handling the situation poorly. I acknowledge that. So, Instead of ranting on the forums, I'll just save whatever I need to say in the video I'm posting on Friday, not with a forum post. If you feel like I should delete some things I've said, I will gladly do so.

I got banned for (in essence) shaming a CT member way too harshly for making fun of some people and teams I know of. I was trying to vent anger due to my recent grandfather's death, and I apologized for what I did. What mainly got me banned is me ignoring the situation and not apologizing for it (I eventually did apologize, but it was way after the fact). I had no idea how to deal with such a big mistake, as I had never done anything so cruel and unusual before. But just wait till Friday, I have proof for everything I've talked about, and I will be covering EVERYTHING in this video.

 

I do not know of such tragedy about the Bucie song, and in all honesty I would prefer for everyone to calm down.

I believe Seth was mostly angry as @XavierEXE did not acknowledge his contribution within the song, as a result it seemed as though I was patting only Selvut on the back, rubbing it at Seth. I wish to apologize about that, but as thread owner I do not want this to be how this song is remembered, nor do I wish this thread to be filled with anger and hate from both sides. I would never intend for it to be like this. We are all musicians, we should all understand the same notes and tune.

Neither you, or me, or anyone in Wynn will profit with a lawsuit made from anger. Or a video aimed to defame an entire server over something that could had been settled a bit better. These are made purely on sheer hatred and jealousy.

As such, I would like to be the first to acknowledge that @SethPRG and @Selvut283 has teamed up together to create "Humble Beginnings" as a song. Let this song be your mark in Wynn, leave it as it is, so that people who enjoy it will continue to enjoy it (Think about it, many people loved this song).

But if you are so tight on getting rid of Bucie in the Wynn OST, do so, but mark my words:
Why compose songs, when no one will listen, anyway?
