Armor

So I started playing today and I love it im at level 20 and I have some pretty god leather armor but I think it's time to start using gold but whenever I find gold it's really shitty and cant compare to my leather. How do I find gold armor with better things on them.

leather gold iron or diamond doesn't matter, stats matter... so focus on that, with some luck you'll find better items

 

Like everyone else has said, they're just visually different.
For example, there's some very good leather armor at lvl 90+ that is better than diamond armor.

 

honestly not many of the 90+ quest reward leather is better than zodiac set

Gold or leather doesn't matter... stats do tho... basically what @dukioooo said

Also don’t worry... at around level 28 you’ll start to find good gold armor
