Media Difficulty Of The Game After The Latest Update

Hello Wynncraft,
Recently JPresent fixed a glitch that has been in game for over a year and a half.

In other words, this bug caused you to take 50% extra damage AFTER all calculations if thorns or reflection triggered on said hit. For example, if a mob hit you for a normally 10k meteor, you would take 15k from said meteor if reflection triggered. Given how common reflection and thorns are (over 15% of all items), this affects the majority of the player-base. This means that there has been a discrepancy between the imputed stats by GMs and how the game actually feels and plays ever sense this glitch was caused originally. Now that this has been fixed I encourage you to try out all content (not just endgame) and post feedback here.

Also the change to the casting speed after melee is a huge game play update, this allow players to melee first and throw a spell in using a super slow weapons, is basically an indirect buff to archers and earth weapons (which usually are slow to super slow).

I think this thread is requesting feedback on how Thorns/Reflections no longer makes you take 1.5x the damage you'd normally take anymore...

Have you tried endgame bosses? It changes a lot especially for archers

 

Maybe that’s why I was taking so much damage on my 15k health build, because I had huge thorns + reflection

 

I mean my build has 30% reflection and 30% thorns, but that wouldn't be a lot of damage :p

wait so previously, if you had both thorns and reflection, was the damage doubled? (50%+50%)

 

That's still a 30% chance to take 1.5x dmg

No, as they trigger off different things, reflection is spell thorns is melee
