When you go on top of your thread, just below the title, look on the right, there should be something called "Thread tools". Click it, it should display an option to ask you if you want to edit your title.
Also, if you don't plan on using this thread anymore, report one of your messages on this thread, and write something like that
"Not planning to use this thread anymore, can someone lock it please?"
This way no one will be able to post here anymore ;)

 

honestly why do people need to lock threads you could just delete it lol

 

post numbers for example, just look at this guy's number of post, he's at 11, if he deletes this thread he won't be able to post links

Some people just don't like the fact that something entirely "disappears"
I don't have problems with deleting something, but rather than giving the suggestion "delete this thread" wich may sound harsh I say "Lock it" as it can be unlocked
