    And Multihit triggered mana steal so you could spam it forever
    Hell, I had a 2 mana steal squid dagger and I could literally use multihit like five times in a row

    Personally, I love Assassin. It's always seemed like a class you've needed to have skill to use (Originally you needed to have 60 total levels across three classes, so you'd at least have played to level 20 on every other class before playing Assassin, and been given a good overview of the game's mechanics). While it may seem like Assassin's tiny range is a major weakness at first, Assassin is actually much better at taking on multiple targets than what you'd assume would be a single target high damage class (That's Archer, if you didn't realise)

    Assassin's first spell couples greatly with the sort of playstyle the average Assassin promotes. Spin attack allows you to attack all the mobs around you (great if you're surrounded in a sticky situation), as well as completely disabling them for a short while. This allows you to get in free hits on either a large group of mobs or a boss without fear of being attacked by them.

    Assassin's second spell is extremely powerful. Where it pales in comparison to the flight abilities of Warrior, jumping abilities of Archer or spatial manipulation of Mage, it shines while in battle. Vanish allows you to make all mobs completely neutral to you for a maximum of 16 seconds (though your mana will probably completely drain by the end), allowing you to get away from danger and heal, or heal while not being targeted.

    Assassin's third spell is one of it's most powerful, but I'd argue only second to it's fourth. Multihit can pull in a large quantity of mobs if cast correctly and deal fast, powerful damage as well as keeping them a good distance away from you so melee mobs can't catch you. As well as this, the 11th hit deals extra damage as well as leaving mobs more vulnerable to a follow up spell. However, Multihit requires good timing to use on large groups and even single mobs, due to it's high cost in mana, which while originally didn't consume mana on miss, does now.

    Assassin's fourth spell is the one I'd say can be the most powerful in it's arsenal. Smoke bomb slows mobs, deals damage over time and makes it very easy to group them together whilst slowed. Their slowness also makes it extremely easy to get hits at a close distance to them, as you just need to slowly move back to stay out of their range. Combining smoke bomb and normal attacks allows you to easily dispatch of most normal enemies, and deal large damage tougher ones. Smoke bomb's ability to group mobs together leaves them open to attacks like multihit too, which can also be followed up with another smoke bomb if you've got enough mana left by casting the spell where the mobs will land after the 11th hit.

    Also, let's not forget Assassin is essentially a hybrid of the other three classes:
    Spin Attack has the freezing ability of Ice Snake, blindness of Arrow Shield and effect cleansing ability of Heal (as well as granting the ability to steal copies of effects, like a Kamikaze mob's insane speed)
    Vanish has the Speed 3 of Escape, Damage and Defense boost of War Scream, a mini version of Charge, and what I'd guess is another reference to escape with Jump Boost 2 (As well as making you invisible to mobs and players)
    Multhit has the rapid strikes of Arrow Storm (I guess?)
    Smoke Bomb has the DoT of Meteor and slowness of Escape.

    @Selvut283 I think this is an interesting suggestion actually. No dmg, a literal shield, and no blindness. Just flinging away and shield. Almost sounds like what the spell should have been like from the beginning.
    EDIT: OMG THEN FIRE% COULD SCALE UP THE SHIELDS HP AND MAKE FIRE TANK ARCHERS VIABLE YEEEEESSSSSSS

    I agree with everything except Assassin's Second Spell.
    Vanish, as you said, drains your mana like a hungry teenager after sports practice drains their fridge. I would suggest halving the current mana drain rate from vanish, as it is currently the most costly movement spell to use effectively by far. If it had a 10-16 sec invisibility with that 1 cast cost like every other spell I think it'd be fine, but it just doesn't allow you to combo movement and combat spell effectively. If you want to run away and use vanish to regen, you are left with no mana after regening your hp. Of course we can't have assassins staying invisible forever, but just having the starting cost and 15 or 16 sec timer should be enough to buff the spell and make it more usable IMO. You'd get the best of both worlds and still be effective. Maybe the draining effect would start 5 or so seconds after vanish is cast instead of once it is cast. The mana drain is just too much for the spell rn. I completely agree, the other parts of vanish are very balanced for now, but vanish is what I think continues to hold Assassin back.

    I’ve never seen a mob getting knocked into me by my own arrow storm...

    At most it just takes no KB, which is better for arrow storm, since you can just hit them with all thre arrows.

    The movement spell and range
    It has extremely bad balancing (garbage range, but still having a garbage movement spell. a good movement spell would let you easily get close.)

    I use assassin because it takes the most skill

    Close range? No problem. I like close range (Just like vanilla attacks) And the combos are the solution of Assassin. I don't think it's sucks at all, enjoying them instead
    (welp vanish is just a little bit useless at the start but if you can get higher level you'll find it useful)
    I use Assassin because I love stealth+high dmg and some good def (not the best def)
