Hi everyone! ever since the quest "Wynn Excavation site D" was released people have found out about a third province, which is called Dern. It is believed to be a dark corrupted region, mainly because of its name being associated with Darkness and Obscurity. there have been several theories about the entrance being behind the abandoned mines or the house of twain. I personally thought that the entrance was on top of Rymek, the town of bandits. The lore developer of the game, Grian, has confirmed that dern isn't a province but should be treated as one. Then as the 2016 Wynnter Fair was released so was Corkus island (though we were not able to access it). Along with that the secret libraries were released as well. The secret library of Llevigar holds the history of the provinces (Wynn, Gavel, Fruma). there was a lot to learn with that but there was also a chapter dedicated to dern. when you try to read the chapter all it will say is "the pages seem to be torn out". who could have torn them out? perhaps the creator? we'll leave that for now. if u want to check out some more things, go to https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Dern_Province

    Now for Fruma
Fruma is the province that's your (the player) home province. You have been sent to Wynn to fight through the war and help wynn emerge victoriously. we can prove this by starting a new class, you are told that you are from Fruma and told that the king is waiting. Fruma was introduced in the same update of Corkus island in the Wynnter Fair 2016 update. If you travel to Corkus and go south of the island and start swimming you will eventually reach the gates. waiting in front of the gates is an NPC that will tell you that "By order of the majesty, the queen states that Fruma is closed to anyone who wishes to enter. trespassing is punishable by death!" In the Secret library of Llevigar, the chapter of Fruma tells us that its home to the human race, they sent in new recruits to help fight in the war, gavel has failed to receive contact from Fruma, and that the province is ruled by a powerful monarchy that is worshiped as gods to their people. from the storyline that's what we know, so far...
I realized and remembered as I am writing this that in the quest Mixed Feelings we are told by Rensa, the main antagonist that we are from a land that we don't even remember. Not only that, but grian also mentioned a brainwashing scheme in his stream of Corkus. why would Fruma be brainwashing the new recruits? what happened to cause this? .....mysteries.... :P
not only that, but at the end of GlitchedSlayers video that shows that 3 villagers have been to Fruma, Yahya Noho and the NPC at the end of the quest. See it yourself here

So much lore... So many mysteries... any theories that you have? comment them
    hope u enjoyed :P

I believe Dern was mentioned in the original lore at the beginning of Wynncraft, and Fruma was first mentioned in the Gavel update.

I remember some theories about Dern being sort of like the End and it being either where the corruption originated from or where there’s no corruption but still has a different kind of darkness in it.

As for Fruma, I’m guessing the gates aren’t open and trespassing it punishable by death due to the corruption. No access and high security means less chances of someone corrupted finding their way into Fruma, which I’m pretty sure isn’t corrupted yet.

And while we’re on the topic of corruption, why not bring up Future Selchar. As we know, we’re tricked into going to the future, where the place is taken over by what looks like the same corruption between Detlas and Nessak. Does this mean that he corruption has spread so far as to take over the ocean islands?

About the crystal, maybe it's from Dern? Or maybe people found a way to crystalize the corruption.

I never knew about that until now. Please explain. I'm interested.

Speaking of religious, if Fruma isn't tainted yet, maybe that's because of some divine protection (if the gate theory is invalid). Also, maybe because of this "divineness" is the reason to why we're unable to be corrupted or why we can come back to life after dying. I play this game called Brave Frontier which has an item called Angel Idol, which protects the unit from fully dying (like Wynn's soul system).

This was explained with WynnEx D. When Dern and the Light Realm (Light and Dark) began to fight 1000 years ago, Corruption was formed.

Fruma means "origin" in Old English. Its been said to be that a lot, so I'm sure the creators chose it to be that way.

The points is: if Fruma truly also means "one who is deeply religious" (it probably doesn't) then it is a homonym. One word -> two definitions. Look at the screenshot you just sent.
