If you guys plan to do small improvements and updates like this, then just start an official devblog. Not something by weekly, but I would just be fine with something like every other month or something.

 

This. Adding small updates, like that new boss altar or the corrupted dungeons, every not and then is just really nice and a decent way to keep people engaged without breaking the server whenever a major update comes through

You know, an explanation can go a long way. My assumption is that you guys probably can't show us anything because you don't have much to share, something I completely understand. You also could've quoted this:

 

We effectively can't do this as when we've started major work on the next update, we've made edits to the main map - meaning we can't push small changes like these. The only reason you're still seeing these tiny additions is because we're fixing bugs at the same time.

 

Yeah, kinda figured that. Oh well

 

tbh i wish we could aaaaa since it would mean that our item changes wont pile up forever and new items that we make wouldnt wait 20years before actually put in game ;-; but oh well... what cant be done cant be doen i guess :/

I get that you guys can't update the map very frequently. The thing I was more interested in was why you guys can't update us on how the next update is going through text. This meaning a devblog, not a patch or something similar to that. Rust and Destiny do this to inform players and to ease tensions on any development worries from the community. Knowing that updates come every 8 months, informing us on whats happening and why would be appreciated. Sorry of the frequent bumps on this thread, I would just like some of these questions answered.
