So, I was thinking of changing my minecraft username. My question is what are the side effects of changing your username. I know it doesn't lock you in a guild anymore, but does it mess with anything else?

The data is based on your UUID which doesn't change, so you should be all good to go

Not sure if I'm allowed to ask this, as its now less about Wynncraft, and more about the username change itself. I have a set username in mind. It said, that's taken. Ok, I thought mine was fairly unique as it works on many other websites without adding numbers. I then added a 3 digit number important to the show. It was taken also. Still not too unusual. Then I started adding random 3 digit numbers. None of them were working. I cleared it and typed in gibberish. It worked. If I went back and wait with my ideal username, then cleared a few letters and replaced them with random digits, it refused to work. I'm pretty sure there's an issue because if half of the username is pure random numbers, then it shouldn't be taken.

Ok. That doesn't justify using a random word then following it with 6 random digits consistently being taken. It seems like if I have the word "Dipstick" in the username it automatically disqualifies my username, because I tested at least 50 random number combinations with at least 10 combos of _ and x flairs with random numbers injected.

I know. It's still relevant to the thread, but if I'm not allowed to ask the question, then sure.
