Drale Appreciation Thread (all Hail The Cult Of Drale!!!)

Okay so, Drale may possibly be my favorite NPC in wynncraft. I mean, it's funny because he was originally a villager who bylvis thought was a cow and now he's a man cow (probably wearing a suit) who's going the way of the other kin and I honestly just love his devotion to his insane ideals. It's hilarious and awesome and we should all strive to be as devoted as Drale. All hail the cult of Drale!

 

Drale was he the cow guy from Tunnel Trouble?

 

yeah, he was also in A Confused Farmer before it got removed
in that quest the Katoan thought he was a cow, but he was actually human, so we helped him become free of any Katoan ties
also we got access to the useless cow passage

he's also in Cowfusion

 

Yeah, I'm wondering if the dialogue of that quest got changed after confused farmer got changed to tunnel trouble.

Edit: also, I guess he was technically a villager. But whatever.

Is Drale still in Tunnel Trouble? And does he still have the same backstory? I would assume so, because otherwise half of Cowfusion makes no sense because half his dialogue talks about how you helped him back in Wynn but he is now basically a furry.

 

Actually it makes more sense now. The end of Tunnel Trouble sees you helping Drale "rescue" the cows of Katoa Ranch and send them on a raft to Gavel. His backstory changed, but now it ties in better with Cowfusion. His desire to actually be a cow is now set up, as well as the cow colony in Gavel. The bit I still don't get is why they went all that way to the Canyon of the Lost. A long way, wherever they landed.

It's because the cow wizard lives in gavel.

The cult part is a joke. This is just an appreciation thread. If it turns into an actual cult, I'll be worried. (I only did he cult part because it rhymed.)

Oh right, thanks. I haven't played on Wynn for months, so I didn't know. But it does seem a bit odd that they got all the way to CotL, especially as the lab is right in the middle iirc.

 

And it's at this moment, that I realized, that it doesn't matter what gender you were before. You turn into a female cow in that quest. Because all cows are female. Curse you basic biology knowledge! Why must you ruin things for me.

 

im guessing drale heard rumors about becoming a cow (like Ranol was talking about some creepy cow obsessed scientist, etc) and he's like HMU
