What Country Are All The Provinces In?

okay so, I may be a bit ignorant but I'm pretty sure that according to geography and politics a province is designated as an area within a country. Like a state. Case in point, Canada. It has provinces. Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that all the provinces in wynncraft must be part of a country and, since all countries have names, that country must have a name. So here's my question: what is the name of the country all the wynncraft provinces are in. Of course, it's always possible that the provinces are stand ins for countries in this world and the team behind wynncraft simply took artistic liscense - geography ( Pokemon does the same thing since regions are technically countries) so forgive me for my ignorance if this is the case.

That seems to be the case. Also I'm pretty sure the continent/world of Wynncraft hasn't been officially named.

 

Because the builders can only do so much, calling each province a country would sound weird because of their size(and because it seems a little too official for more of a confederacy)

I think they're individual countries because they have completely different cultures and Gavel, for a time, blocked off access to itself for many centuries (which would never happen with real life provinces). They also seem to have separate governments.

 

If you’re talking about Real Continents or Countries, I would say somewhere in Europe, around Sweden. This is because Vikings come from around Sweden, and since there’s Nodguj and Dujgon, I say it’s around there somewhere. If not it’s probably around Norway or Denmark.

It's more like early history France and Switzerland with cantons. They are a union of the city states that are in that area to give them more power.

 

Nowhere, because we have tropical jungles and hot volcanos to sticky swamps and snowy forests. And none country has those thing at sametime.

Can we just accept that it's a game? You can also shoot 60 arrows in like 3 seconds, summon a meteor/thing of ice, teleport, leap like 20 metres in the air, disappear, launch things 20 metres in the air... What other spells are there lol

The CT basically uses provinces as countries.

 

Yeah, I think this is the generally accepted thing, although you could argue that they're sort of in between being countries and continents in geographical terms given the variety of ecosystems in them.

Also: there's the corrupted mordor style location. Another mordor style location next to the floating islands, and the canyon that you could literally be lost forever in, and the volcano, the list goes on.
