When Do Staff Look At Posts?

So, I was wondering: is there a minimum amount of support that a suggestion has to get (e.g. 500? 1000?) for it to come to the staff's attention (by staff I mean Salted, Grian, Jumla etc) or does anyone think they just browse general suggestions front page every now and then, see what's got a lot of support. I would guess it's a mixture of both, as if a suggestion's got overwhelmingly positive support and a lot of supporters, they're probably going to take a look, but I'm also pretty sure that Salted showed his support in the very early days of the Skill Point Perks thread, and is one of the first comments.

Ok, fair enough. I was expecting more people to be uncertain and have a discussion when I posted the thread, but I realise now it was a bit of a stupid question, I could have worked it out myself really.

 

Well, Jumla seems to barely check the forums at all due to a busy real life, and Grian tends to be busy working on his youtube career, life stuff and answering the CT's messages, although he does pop in every once in a while. Meanwhile, Salted is really active with the community, and it often seems like he reads through every new thread. Even though they do check on stuff, it makes sense to stay quiet about it in order to prevent making unnecessary fuss; They are admins afterall.

As for the content team and moderators, activity depends entirely on the person. Majority of them were active community members to begin with, which is why they still interact as they usually would. Checking the forums every now and then is also a major advantage for the content team, since it keeps us updated on bugs, and often gives us inspiration and ideas for future content.

Suggestions never get directly added, unless they're small aesthetic things which are actually needed. You might create a highly supported suggestion about adding guns to Wynn, but it's still not gonna be added. Suggestions with good ideas stay relevant for longer thanks to the community, which is why more CT members are likely to see it, and get content based off of it. That's not to say every small suggestion gets ignored though; The content team is large, and every suggestion has a chance of lighting a spark of inspiration inside someone.

As for when something'll get added, literally no one knows. Even though some large suggestions are supported by owners, content team members or such, there might be a dozen more important things which need to get done before them. This is why some rotten eggs often complain about the team being lazy, and claim we don't care about the playerbase. The truth is that we do care, but there's only so much that one team can do within a reasonable time limit.

 

I'm pretty sure most of the suggestions are read, and fairly often that is. But not necessary the ones with the most support as these can be more often than not impractical. I'm sure they read posts and think "That's a great idea we should add this sometime" but it just isn't feasible a lot of the time, things such as reducing the overall lag and bug fixes will (and should in my opinion) take priority over any new feature.

If you really wanna get attention from Admins all you gotta do is just make shit like this
