Deadly Hopper

So this is a question I guess. I was boarding the Seaskipper with the intent to, you know, use it. I however accidentally threw my weapon in the hopper instead of my ticket. The hopper, as hoppers do, ate my sword and it was never seen again. I am fairly new to the game so I was wondering is this is supposed to happen or if the hopper is only supposed to eat tickets. Is the ladder is true, I would also be wondering if I could get my weapon back. Thanks for your time, LoneKey

 

You can't get it back, unfortunately. All you can do is get another one.

 

Sorry but Wynncraft has a strict no refund policy. And hoppers will take anything so be careful on what you drop.

This thread gives me flashbacks of when I threw my Idol into the Orange Wybel hopper.

 

Hey! As said above you can't get your items back, however, maybe some players could give you that item if they have one extra, what was it, I may have one ;)

 

Unfortunately you can't get your item back, but you may want to consider changing your drop key to something other than q if you haven't done so already, it can help you out later in the game in boss fights when you might panic.

 

I appreciate the kind gesture, but I think it'd be best if I learn from my mistake, thanks again though! :D

 

the hopper is a enternally hungry being gobbling anything up. legend has it if you drop 10 mythics in it in a row something cool happens. or u just lose all your mythics

I counted it, this is what i have dropped in some hoppers already:

• 1 black horse
• 2 legendary wands
• 2 epic necklaces (don't ask me how I managed to drop that...)
• about 30 emerald blocks
• some health potions
• creeper mask, what you need for temple of legends (not a quest item!)

I really have to move my drop (Q) button far away from my walk forward (W) button...

 

I've lost

• A Stratiformis
• A Guardian (and to boot, it was my friends)
• A good RtE
• 2 Black Horses
• 1 Chestnut
• Bob's Mythic Bow
• Hellstrand
• Kaze
• 45 eb (not all at once)
• And more Legendaries that I can remember

And a partridge in a pear tree...

...

But it's quite easy to install filters on hoppers right? (with redstone and stuff, i don't know)

 

Not when the hoppers are flush with the ground. Your better of creating a system to return the item after dropping it.

 

To be fair, if a merchant is asking for a pass and you just drop a large, glowing, likely valuable weapon on the floor right next to him without saying anything, he's probably gonna take it.
