It would have to be a very long and winding road to take up all of that space, it would be a waste. In any case, we have heard nothing of the size of Dern in comparison to the provinces, so there's nothing to suggest it should be as big as Wynn or anything. There's space for much more content than Corkus, especially considering the seemingly mountainous terrain and resulting vertical space.

 

You make fair points, its a lot of space for a road. However, it's bound to me more than just a road.

But, I disagree about not hearing anything about Dern's size. Aside from the fact that most theories assume it was a whole province that went dark, Grian stated that it's "a far off dark land" in relation to the question of if it's a province at all. That it is one, but should not be considered one in the lore of the game. This leads me to believe that it's the same size as a normal province, but the people in the game don't consider it as one.

Ofc, I may be wrong.

 

Are we going back in time? Are we still discovering the fucking gate to Gavel or what? How many posts have to be made about this goddamn black sheet over The Road to Dern before someone realizes it's been found by everyone

 

they could just expand the map borders you know

 

I was thinking they might release it in two parts, with the first part being the covered up stuff we see, and then they release a second part thats as big as the first, because updates take so long we will have something to content us while they work on the next part (well it wouldn't really content us, only for like a week or two...) And I also thing Grian said road to Dern because he knew that there was going to be a few updates sprinkled in between.
