By the update, even simple but important places now have the lore..

    Great Bridge also have it.

    "RUN."

    Yes, this is kinda funny.
But I think "RUN." is not enough to explain the big and mysterious place like that..

Is it meant to be the secret..?

not entirely sure i get what the question is, but the great bridge is just a big ol' bridge built to connect nesaak and the jungle area/troms, since going over the mountains is too dangerous

yes but I think he wants to have it explained why there's a bunch of weird shit that attacks you all over the bridge and why there's a big ol nether-like area underneath it

makes sense that some evil shit would live inside a mountain (in a fantasy world, anyway), and while the nether-y bit is strange it could easily just be natural lava pockets.

boy it really has changed since i last saw it

doubt the archers are meant to be human (or at least, not some corrupted human), by the looks of the wiki it's just an alex head, which wouldn't ever be used

I think the heads might be broken, because last time I went across it (not since 1.17 but it wasn't that long before it) they were Alexes, which I thought was a bit weird.

Anyway, I guess the lore you mentioned is in the territory discovery thing that pops up? If so, I guess it's just a reference to how it's recommended to get across it with minimal damage: running. It would be nice to see some lore around it though, because it's pretty ornate and there's a lot of mobs on it which are unique to it. I think there was plans of some kind of dungeon-y thing under it, which was linked to a mysterious hooded npc in Troms, but idk if hats still a thing.

Maybe the bridge is just Troms being overly protective against the Corruption and just won't allow anyone or anything to pass.

I think the build itself is quite nice looking, although I've never really stopped and looked for more than Agee seconds on account of the huge amount of mobs and fire below and stuff. However, it never really seemed to fit in with what the bridge is supposed to be, where it is, and there isn't any lore around it explaining it. Is that what you mean?

The discovery lore was meant to be funny, but there is no other real lore surrounding the bridge. The build itself is a bit dated in quality, but the real problem is that its out of place.

I think it might seem a little out of place at the moment, as it is this big, ornate, flaming bridge between a snowy area which is quite poor, and the middle of a jungle, and is inside a mountain. However, if we had some lore around why it's there (other than "the mountains are dangerous") it might not seem that way. Maybe in that crypt thing that was mentioned by the red hooded dude in Troms.

The only one who I could imagine making such a structure is Troms but why would the tromsians make things that attack allied soldiers? And why is the whole fucking thing corrupted?

Lore: "When the war against the corrupt first started, this mighty bridge was built between Nesaak and Troms in order to create easier access between the two, as going above the mountains was too dangerous. Hostiles were brought into the bridge to stop the mindless corrupt from passing, knowing that any being with some intelligence would know the safest way to pass would be to RUN."

some lore i made up in like 5 minutes
it explains why the bridge is there, and why there are mobs inside of it, but it doesn't explain why there are the magma slimes and why there's lava in it.
anyone want to help explain that?
