wtf i was killing him with my friend and i spent 1 LE getting pots and stuff and he's stuck in the block and when we kill him we can't pick up his items rip

Here are some tips: Use an air or fire weapon on him since he's weak to those elements. Also spam your escape spell whenever he gets too close to you.

It is easy boss, and even have harder version of it

oh oops im new to the forums xD

I was a mage and me and my friend ice snaked it and glitched it into a block (like it was actually in the block and couldn't move and was suffocating)

 

Knockback spells are very broken for sometimes knocking mobs inside walls, but it kinda cheezed the fight. You just need to find spot where you can hit it melee and boss/mob cannot do anything (unless it has spell, like flame thower, multihit or teleport).
