Wynncraft Texturepack

Just saying, the wynncraft texurepack for me doesn't download in game, so if anyone can help, just send me a link to download the texurepack. I have a wynncraft texurepack, but its outdated, because some of the weapons show as a diamond shovel, instead of the intended weapon. Plz help

 

delete the legacy file in server-resource packs or all of the files if it doesnt show up

 

go here AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\server-resource-packs and delete the files inside the "server-resource-packs" folder. Then open minecraft and go the the server list. Then highlight the wynncraft server and click the edit button. Underneath the IP address line, there should be a button that says Enabled, Disabled, or Prompt. Make sure it says Enabled. This tells the server to always download the server resource pack when joining.

Also this belongs in the "Questions" sub-forum. Lastly, if you are savy with modding, you can actually extract the contents of the server-resource-pack file that was downloaded from wynncraft, then re-archive the extracted contents and put it into your resources folder. You can load the texture pack and disable the server download button I suggested in the first comment. This will save you time when connecting to a WC and pre-load the textures without activating each time you join. I don't suggest it if you don't have winRar or 7Zip, or lack experience with modding first-hand, as you might not actually do anything to change your circumstances, but shouldn't be able to break the game either. EDIT: I said texture pack cause I'm old. Wherever I say texture pack, replace it with Resource Pack.

then GL, idk how to find minecraft's folders on a mac. I am pretty sure they are hidden from the user by default. To make them visible you need to put the following without quotes: "defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE" and then "killall Finder" into Terminal. Then you can browse through them to your hearts content, but their exact location is a mystery to me. I'd guess somewhere in libraries. OOOOOOO! You can hit the OPEN RESOURCE PACKS Folder! That should do it!

I did that, when ever i go in it starts downloading the resource pack, but it never loads it into the game

Actually, when you are in game and the texture pack has downloaded you should see this in your resource packs menu:

Make sure the texture pack is on the RIGHT SIDE not the left. If it is not, the resource pack will not be active after downloading.
