Taproot Quest Broken

I am trying to complete taproot, I have followed the rainbow trail and gone into the light realm, it then kicks me out and the quest book states "Speak to Tiek" When talked to, Tiek says "I wrote down what you need to do in your book. The forest needs us!" The book still says "Speak to Tiek" and its kind of just broken, I tried going back into the light realm and it kicked me out and when going back I died in the void? Super confused, thank you in advance!

 

by light realm, do you mean past dark forest?

 

Yeah the area where you get talked to about darkness and light, with the root

 

The light realm is actually a different place that you'll encounter later. The healthy forest you experience in Taproot is the same Dark Forest over 1,000 years before. The cave with the taproot is simply the cave with the taproot.

By the sounds of it you're stuck on stage 12 of the quest, which is supposed to be in the healthy forest, but you're currently in the decayed forest in current time Gavel. You'll need to reenter the taproot cave, and I'm not sure about this but you may have to press the button in the basement and follow the rainbow trail again in order to enter the cave.

 

I have gone into the healthy forest, it seems it finished talking and then kicked me out, and then it was broken, I have entered it 3 different times, 2 in which I fell in the void in died when leaving

 

Go report it on the bugs place of the forums

 

Nearly right after posting on the bug forum, the quest seemed to have fixed itself and I was able to talk to Apprentice Tiek without falling into the void, thank you for your help.
