i found this camp on the map. I went to it from the coastal trail, and it seemed like a camp/fort of some sort. it gives off a mage island kinda vibe, so I assume mages created it. This, again is pure speculation. I assume this is some kinda mage training place. The pink fire place just gave me a vibe.

    Thoughts ppl?

Got there by accident a month or two ago. It's just a random cluster of buildings they may have had plans for, but never actually used. You can go there, but it is 100% empty.

This has been there since Corkus came out.
I hope they do something with it one day, it's very detailed for a filler build.

That's an interesting idea... perhaps this is where those mages were before they moved to Mage Island? We do know that they only chose Mage Island because Selchar didn't want them, and Selchar was founded seventy years after the waves were calmed. This seems like an ideal location, it's high up and protected from the waves, and far out to sea but accessible by land. It seems to be abandoned but there's no sign of any conflict or other damage, which suggests whoever lived there moved out. There's also a giant pink magical flame there that hasn't gone out, showing that whoever it was was pretty good at magic.

It looks to me to be some kind of castle fort. It has proper walls, and it's in a very defensible location. The other candidates of who built it could be Ragni and Corkus due to proximity, but it doesn't match their style. Fruma seems unlikely, as they don't seem to ever leave their own territory, and the magic there seems a bit excessive if only the Royal Family can perform it.

exactly. I assume it was a mage-friendly place because of the flames.

thanks for the ellaboration of my theory ;)
