If a weapon has an added affect of +15% damage, is that added directly to what you see displayed as the damage done in what ever element, or do you need to add it yourself?

Have you ever thought of answering the question before tagging me

@DeadExcuses I'm not sure what you meant by the question.. Are you talking about the damage display on compass, or can you describe it more precisely?

The damage you see on the weapon itself and on the compass is its base damage without any modifiers. When you hit a mob with it, however, it will show its damage with said modifiers (such as %elemental damage, strength, etc.).

Ok, ill try to clarify. lets take this weapon, it has air damage in the top BUT also buff of 10% air damage. Is the damage seen as 22-32 WITH or WITHOUT that 10% damage added to the weapon.

I cant link so ill split the link
Ok, ill try to clarify @motoki1 . lets take this weapon(linked below), it has air damage in the top BUT also buff of 10% air damage. Is the damage seen as 22-32 WITH or WITHOUT that 10% damage added to the weapon.

I cant post links so I had to edit the link abit, just replace {dot} with a .

Also @Stormarend that would make sense. I was thinking that was the case just wanted to clarify with the community.

    Ah, okay.
That 22-33 Air damage is what I call "Base Damage", and that is the value without that "+15% Air Damage" which is called Identifications (IDs). Your actual damage is boosted by some parameters such as skill points (in this case Agility), and IDs like Spell/Melee damage, Air damage %.
Also the damage display in the compass menu is different from the actual damage in-game anyway, so you shouldn't trust it.
