Odd Cave In Rymek

(I don't really feel like uploading any images) I found a cave in Rymek with a few interesting mobs (1336, -1394). Outside there are 2 Sentry Trap enemies and inside there are more Sentry Traps scattered about and a few loot chests. Most notable is a human-looking mob called Kaven, who, when killed, drops an item called "Howler Bait" (that looks like rotten flesh). I haven't seen anyone post something like this, and when looking it up, Kaven had no results and Howler Bait could be related to the Witcher series, although I highly doubt it.

So, does anyone have any ideas?

What do you want from us if it's never been posted about

 

I uploaded some images. I was wondering if this was like some obscure reference or some sort of secret for us to solve. The Howler Bait is, oddly enough, untradable like many quest items and items pertaining to secrets.

 

Defenitely obscure. The howler bait has gotten to be used somewhere

 

I found this and the bait during the beta, (an NPC in Rymek tells you to find this guy), but I couldn't figure out where/what the howler bait was used for.

 

I think some NPC in Rymek mentions something about Kaven.

 

I know I'm late, but I have found a use to Howler Bait
if you go to the bottom of a cave at 1155 29 -1467 a mini boss called the Howler will spawn if you have howler bait on you it has 6k health I think and drops a rare chest plate and some emeralds and gold

 

wait... is it a boss altar? Or just something that just... there?...

 

Chest name?

Damnit, I spent a good hour or so trying to find this dude to no avail cause of those Rymek NPCs.
