Non-binary means you don't identify within the gender binary (boy or girl). It could be like agender, demi-boy/girl etc. Anyone identifying under the non-binary umbrella is part of the lgbtq+ group.

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Lacking concepts of homo and heterosexuality doesn't necessarily mean they don't have genders? It's because most of them are bisexual and probably almost no one has considered the possibility that some could be attracted to exclusively girls or exclusively boys.
EDIT: Also, Charun being confirmed as nb also pretty much confirms that they DO have a concept of gender
