How Are The 1.17 Gear Changes Applied?

So, just wondering, but how will the new update changes be applied to gear? Will it be that the changed stats only are automatically rerolled, all of the changed gear’s stats are automatically rerolled, or will you have to manually reroll to gain the new changes?

 

If it has new IDs, you have to reroll it (i.e, if 1.16 didn't have +mr but 1.17 does). Otherwise, it was auto-added.

 

Wait what would the otherwise be then?

 

if we just changed the current stats, it is automatically applied.if an ID was added, then you must preroll your item to get it.

 

So I’m just picking the first example I could see on WynnApps:
Corrupt nii mukluk got a health buff and some ids got increased, but the negative water defense and damage were removed. Would the ids get automatically get rerolled for the increase versions, but the negative water stuff would stay?

I have a 32 loot pelier and I kinda want the buffed life steal and soul point regen, but don’t want to reroll and lose the 32 loot.

 

When IDs are removed you don't have to reroll, as the value is changed to 0, so the negative water defence and damage wouldn't stay and the other IDs will get the buff without rerolling (not that you can even identify Corrupted Nii Mukluk).

 

Yeah just picked the first example I could see with removed/ added stats and modified ones. So my pelier would already have the buffed life steal and soul point regen right now.
