World Make The Clock Mystery And The Llevigar Library Secret Discoveries- 100% For Yes So Far

as the title says , gavel has many discoveries they just dont technically count as discoveries but they are just as discovery as the other discoveries in addition to that gavel is the only province with no secret discoveries and it really needs some , gavel has been neglected lately in favor of wynn and corkus which I understand but it still needs a little bit of work put on it to keep up with the rest of wynncraft

 

I think they weren't made discoveries because they are probably going to do the discoveries area by area.

 

The lussuco library was made a discovery so I dont see a reason for them not to be made ones even going area by area

 

What about the secret discoveries though.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're adding all the Gavel (is there Corkus discoveries yet?) discoveries soon. I seem to remeber seeing that the Wynn ones were a bit of a trial to see if the system worked. Also, @Kraby, I'm pretty sure the Lusuco library was already a discovery before the update.

 

the Corkus discoveries were a trial to see if the system worked and were added 8 months ago , the wynn discoveries are not a trial they are the real thing and the lussuco library wasnt a discovery before the latest update , so my point is if they already decided to add a lot of wynn discoveries why not make gavel secrets discoveries as well in the same update instead of making us wait a few months/years for gavel discoveries

 

Actually, Lusuco Library was a discovery before this update. So was the Llevigar Library, but I don't know why they removed it.

As for the discoveries last update being a trial, just compare those ones to this update. The discoveries in the Corkus update were probably an alpha, and this update they fleshed out the system, adding cutscenes to some of them.

My point is it probably took the content team a while to make the Wynn Plains discoveries (No, they didn't put discoveries all across Wynn), so just let the content team do their thing - Gavel discoveries will come in time.

 

you're missing my point , there is no reason for them to come in time when they are already ready and just need to be officially made discoveries , the wynn planes discoveries didnt exist before which is why it took a long time to make them , but the clock mystery and llevigar library already exist and require very little coding to be made official secret discoveries

 

Uhhh... I'm guessing you're intending them to be the ones which just give you a bit of lore in the chat and some xp. I got confused there, because I assumed you meant the ones that were featured in the new update: the ones with cutscenes.

 

secret discoveries dont have to have cutscenes , they simply need to be hidden and to give xp/lore (and be in the secret discoveries menu) . both the library of llevigar and the clock mystery shouldnt be changed they should simply be added to the secret discovery menu , have some lore and give a bit of xp .

 

Ok. I misunderstood it at first, and I'm not really up to speed on discoveries, having not played for a while, and not since the update at any rate. So secret discoveries basically just don't tell the location to the player until they find them?

 

yes , and they are usually hard to find , you cant just walk around and get them unlike normal discoveries .

 

Llevigar Library used to be a discovery but it's only accessible through one branch of a quest, meaning your class could get locked out of it without the use of glitches, preventing you from getting that sweet 100% progress. Because of this it was removed as a discovery in general.

Because they don't have the time for it.

But seriously it'd be perfect for the Clock Mystery to be a secret discovery...

 

But at the same time, isn't the book now only usable for the money, thus removing the point of it being 'Wealth or Knowledge'?

 

The Library is still there, it's just not counted as a discovery.

 

I have just been to the library it still says that you have found a discovery and gives lore/xp but it doesnt count as +1 in the discovery book

 

This is actually a bug. Discoveries were moved over to a new system this update and it seems like one of the old ones was never properly removed. Will be fixed with the next push.

 

but then why even bother going?
