Will They Ever Add Levels Higher Than 100?

I am not level 100 but I am wondering if there will be levels higher than 100 so people can keep playing after they reach 100.

 

Probably not. I believe they've expressed that they don't want to increase the level cap from what it is, which is probably a good idea. The game isn't full of content even for the amount of levels we already have, adding more will only make the game seem emptier after a certain point.

i would like a new level cap, afterall we're waiting so much content in future updates that i think it's necessary.
btw could be a problem about the balancing the SP etc, would u imagine a lvl 151 player with 300 sp !? =D

The game is full of content but if they will never raise a new level cap the whole experience will be only around doing quest after quest.
actually grinding became a minor part of the game, with discoveries + a lot new quests + totems etc. in the future it'll be so full of quests and stuff that no one will taste satisfaction in leveling up.
sincerely i miss the after-gavel period between 80 and 100 trying to find the best grind spot and the best xp items to reach a new level with a whole new quest to experience :)

 

The game is meant to be more like a traditional RPG. What you think of as quests right now are technically the equivalent of a mainstream RPG's side-quests, with the upcoming Storyline being the main thing driving you to play.

 

Yeah you're right, and don't misunderstand i love it.
But in some way i feel like all is too easy to do, maybe the "problem" is mine, because i fell in love with wynn when leveling up between lvl 60-75 was quite hard without a rank :D
And making parties with random people to share xp helping each other was the best time that i remember nostalgically <3

 

That's fair. Removing a level limit entirely without adding any significant content past it could be an option, so reaching 100 stays an achievement, but you can grind more for personal pride and skill points. There could be more content past 100, but it's better to fill what there already is before expanding further out.

 

perhaps it will raise up a bit once dern comes out, but how much? I'm not sure.

 

Yeah I am just level 27 but me and my friends are going pretty slow right now and I was wondering if they were going to add a level 200 or something. Now I know there is no rush.

The max level will probably be 651 why you ask; easy the eye will be level 666

I'm just gonna say that eventually when they add the main storyline and more and more quests, there's going to be too many. The quest xp rewards could be nerfed, but it would get annoying if there were 3 quests/level because each quest wouldn't feel rewarding and wouldn't be worth doing it. If you had to do 3 quests just to get the same xp as a current quest gives, it would just be easier to grind mobs than spend much more time going through all those quests.

 

There won't be too many, because the point of the game will no longer be "level up to 100"

Quests are the heart and soul of every RPG game.
I am a complete advocate to questing all the way to 100.

One problem with Wynn's quests though, they're weak.
They last 15 minutes at most, (Not including ???, because it's a community event), if quests lasted longer they could increase the amount of content and gameplay.
