Lag? Disconnection Issues?

Am I the only one experiencing very bad disconnection issues when trying to join a server. I get a disconnection error and it sends me out of wynncraft before I can even see the classes. But when I do get into a server, the lag is just so awful, using mage/archer is nearly impossible to use. This only recently started happening going into the recent update, before then, I've never had lag or disconnection issues on any server, wynncraft or not. I know it's not my computer or my internet connection, any clue?

 

I don't get disconnected, but I'm getting tons of server lag, and there's a 1-2s delay every time I try to do anything.
In the promotional video for the update, it even said they reduced lag e-e

 

ik and thats what made me kind of mad about the update, its the very opposite of reduced lag tbh. I hope they figure something out cause i've died multiple time due to 3-4s lag spikes that throw 500+ damage on me from all the lag hits I take.
