In The Canon Lore, Are You The Only Player?

I thought this up yesterday and wanted to know what other people would think about this question.

 

I don't think there's much information surrounding this. It could go either way.

On one hand, there's multiple soldiers being sent from Fruma to Wynn, and every player could easily be unique. On the other hand, Quests and such don't make much sense if other players exist in the lore.

In the end, I don't think it's very important, but it seems more likely that as far as the story goes, every player acts like the protagonist of their own story.

 

In most quests, it only makes sense if there is one player.

 

My personal thought process is that the other players do exist, but they're doing other jobs and quests and whatnot in the game, hence why they refer to the players as part of a "trickle in" from fruma and why people are aquanted with what the adventurers do

 

I'd like to believe there are technically other players, but the quests you personally complete are the quests only you as your own player could complete (as in, these other players haven't done them yet/the issue only happened to come up when you were around). The other players are doing quests for other people (which don't actually exist). Perhaps even some of the problems we see in quests we undertake could have even been caused by the actions/completion of these quests by other players before we got there?

 

Hmmmmm... Interesting. Well. I guess @ChocolateGelato and @Nepeta Leijon 's ideas make sense. I think there are interactions in the quests, like in ???, as you are expected to interact. I'm not sure actually. I did have an idea that the player is Ragnar, but maybe Ragnar is actually just another player?
