Terrain And Fantasy/medieval Town

Please give me some tips :D. And in the third image the house in the mountain in the very left is not my build. Also the build in the third image, the build on the bottom left is edited by me.

Pretty nice, but if you ask me it could use a little more colour, for me it looks kinda boring with all the dark colours and nothing really sticking out.
But bear in mind that that's just my taste and I've seen people say that certain art styles I love look too colourful and garish and that they are straining on the eyes too look at so you should take that with a grain of salt.

Also if you want your thread to get noticed more make a comment saying some random thing and then it'll appear on the latest box and people have a better chance of seeing it. This is known as "bumping" and is allowed as long as you don't spam it too much.

 

Put a 'Build' tag on the thread so people know what it is if it's not already obvious, and so people filtering 'Build's will see it.

Little disclaimer, in the third image the house with the fisherman was built with my friends and the house in the far left is also built by my friend. Just so I dont take credit for what I didn't do

 

Anyone else have tips for these builds?

 

The structures are nice... Suspicious. Terrain is nice too... It's rare to get an overall solid build 'round here. The issue is the trees. Never use base vanilla trees, or anything like them. They're pretty easy to make on your own, since you seem to have control over worldedit.

 

Pretty okay so far, but if you're going to apply for the content team, you need to make larger builds that fully show your skill. Make a galleon perhaps, or an airship, or a fort. Also, like others said above, don't use Notch trees. Make custom trees by your own(there are tutorials on YT to help).
Have more variety-make builds of different themes, such as desert, fantasy, medieval, aquatic, apocalyptic, to name a few. Good luck!

Yeah im planning to build a big city near the village similar to detlas

 

All and all it looks really nice! But, there is room for improvement. In the first picture, the houses look really nice! I love them. In the second picture, i don't really see anything special.. There's just trees and what seems to be normal vanilla terrain. In the third picture i recommend using logs instead of fences for the dock support things. Good job tho! :)

Update: Im planning to build a barrack in the town. Also, I plan to build some Cities and towns

 

It all looks pretty good, but there is definitely room for improvement. See above replies for tips. I just have one thing that's bothering me and it's the FOV. Try taking the screenshots with a FOV of 90 or 100, the pictures will definitely look better.
