So, how are people gonna grind now?

I'm just curious on what Mythics were changed, and with the ones that were, how were they changed?
Also I want to see the air spear, judging from what I think the lore is, I might want to level up my Warrior.
also add more nontrash endgame thunder daggers

Honestly... buff Assassins. They seem and feel extremely lacking. As well as their Non-Mythic items. Flameshot is dead, Black is being nerfed, Brass just sucks, Slider is... Slider... the Infused Hive Dagger is pretty neat. Either way, Assassins don't seem as much fun as other classes. Nor does it feel accomplishing. Something needs to be changed about that class in my opinion.

If you think assassin is bad, then I'd like to know what build(s) you've been using with it, since I and many other people agree that assassin is fine as it is.

I do agree with the weapons part though. Before the update, the best non-mythic and non-hive dagger was arguably Black, and it's getting nerfed into oblivion. The 65 dex/def limit is problematic, and it relies on mana steal and has negative mana regen. Having less mana regen than you could have is basically a death wish on assassin.

It doesn't stop there, let's look at the other endgame weapons. Ivory just plain sucks, Slider is good for ws but shit for damage, and flameshot and melee builds in general never appealed to me, especially because of the new id rounding system.

As a result, the only good endgame dagger for dealing damage, is a powdered infused hive dagger. Rewind and Slider are good for secondaries, but hive is the only good one for dealing damage. I hope that the new update brings new endgame dagger options. There's nothing wrong with the hive dagger being good, it would just be nice to see a bit more variety in builds.

 

As for builds, I just use them all except Mythic builds. Besides that, Assassin feels lacking than the other classes. It doesn't feel as if it could bring a lot to the table compared to the other classes. Warrior can deal and or tank damage as well with nice movement and buffs. Archer brings long distant damage, heavy hits, nice speed, and nice movement. Mage has amazing damage for weird reasons, insane healing, FLYING!!! (a.k.a Teleport), and Ice Snake.

This is all without Mythics too...

Assassins have decent damage to crappy, movement is Hell as it has basically copied Warrior all over again but worse, but at least have moderate defense.

Their Vanish just kinda sucks in Boss Rooms as if you were backed into a corner. Most likely the mobs have hit you out of Vanish if they were ranged. Also the drain just kills.

Multi-Hit is nice. Not much to change there.

Spin Attack is nice, until the mobs don't register the hit. Plus when you don't abuse Mythics, it's pretty meh to good.

Smoke Bomb, kinda short in the range department. However it is nice in the damage compartment.

Assassin honestly just needs a kick in the Weapons department, and the Vanish department. In all honesty, Vanish is a pretty bad spell besides it's Invis and hop.

This is all in my opinion.

you (should) get resistance from that and your next attack will deal more dmg so that already gives you various options. One for example is cast a smoke bomb and then activate vanish and watch your smoke bombs dmg go up.

i find it very good whenever i use it with a black build :)

It can lock down entire areas and is able to deal a lot of dmg so idk how thats bad O.o.
as for builds... well
Black needed the nerf lol its insanely strong and about Slider just being slider.. well er I soloed Qira with my Weathered build using a neutral slider and mind you i have 8.5ish k health so its not like i was able to properly tank hits so i really dont see a problem with slider. Infact i think Slider is a pretty neat weapon.
As for build/weapon stuff... well my black build broke so i made a prototype new one its still rough on the edges but its still neat and dmg wise i can hardly complain

Edit: oh and i forgot to mention the black catalyst set bonus isnt added yet so there is uhhh lemme see stuff like 2mr more and +10%spell +150health a a bit more

 

its the best cc and the highest dps spell lin the game lol

 

Arrow Bomb is a way better CC spell. Huge range, and it bounces 3 times.

Assassin can combo... never said it couldn't. Plus, all the other classes can as well. Warrior can combo really well, Archer is a bit difficult but possible. Mage... just gonna brush them to the side there...

Yes, you should. But Resist doesn't always Save you... Plus unless that boss doesn't move and isn't a projectile... good luck?

Happened to me a few times... honestly use another Spin and you should be good. That or lag... one of the two.

Yeah, but now it has the highest requirements for a weapon... I think...

It's a nice side weapon. But compared to the others, it isn't that good...

For all we know the IDs may not stay the same... but meh. Selvut does Selvut.
