Can Someone Explain The New Update?

Yeah so I had stuff like a 20intel bluemask which turned into a 19 aquarius that had 6/4mana regen turned into 5/4 and my dark channler, paradox that had 2 mr/ms turned into 1 mr/ms. I have a lot more items that turned like that but my question is why did it happen? I can't understand the update

 

The item's stats were not rounded correctly, and the latest update fixed it. I recommend reading selvut's thread, but I believe the stats of the items were not intended to go that high.

 

The rounding system for IDS changed, which means that if a roll on your item was low enough the actual stat would be lowered. See @motoki1 's thread on IDs for details about how the system works.

This was done to make sure items with +1 base can't get a +2 roll, and items with a -1 base can't get a -0 roll. This helps Selvut with item balancing, a lot.

 

Well I guess its ok besides the fact that I have to rebuild my entire build rip me

 

I recommend waiting until the 1.17 update with spending too much money, I'm 99% sure more nerfs/changes are coming. And new items will come with 1.17 as well.

No, but the chance is smaller now. Less rolls will result in a maxed stat. I heard someone say it's a 0.99% chance for 7/4s aqua now (so only the highest roll possible gets it), but I'm not sure if that's true.

 

Are hive stuff changing as well? For example 2mr on hive bow

 

Nope no change in merchant items.

There will be requirement changes though.

 

They've got fixed (pre-set) ids, so this particular code change won't affect them.
