Version Of Mc, Missing Textures

Hi guys
I've made screenschots at 1.8.9 and latest 1.12.2 while looking to someone weapon. I don't know which version of minecraft i should play. The latest shows me weapon skin but for example I can't reach tier VI chest at Emerald Trail (behind fance) while it is possible at 1.8.9 but there is missing textures for weapon.

I play at 1.11 and usually textures are fine. This guy's weapon skin is a custom one which you can get from cosmetic crates, those textures tend to glitch out more. I recommend 1.11

 

I have also experienced that the fence in front of the tier IV chest connect on both sides. I don't know why though.
