Color Codes

Just wondering, why are the color codes so bad? I get that its not supposed to be in game, but I don't really see how its hurting the players or the game when you do it. pls explain im scared. One of my friends said it was only bannable in shouts but idk if thats true...

 

You are not supposed to use them, as they could be confused with admin messages

 

Yes but usernames stay the same correct? So I don't get how people would get them confused....

 

Some people don't know the admin usernames

Imagine if someone shouted a phishing website, but used colour codes to make it seem like an admin did it. Better safe than sorry

 

I mean the color of the username.. as in
(Uses color code) Exoltic: Hi everyone
The color of the username doesn't change like the text.
Also thats why I asked above if it was only bannable in shouts

You aren't supposed to be able to do it so it classifies as abusing glitches
