Horses Aren't Worth It.

This is probably the nicest minecraft server community that you'll find, but you can't completely eradicate the bad apples in any community. Other server's communities like hypickel and mineplex are salt central compared to this one.

In response to the actual thread, horse breeding is gambling, if you don't like the chances, then don't horse breed. Honestly, you're better off buying horses from other players, since you have to be extremely lucky to actually make a profit off of horse breeding.

I guess it is my turn at this...

2 LE means a lot, I get that much. Even at higher levels when you have no money by some miracle (AKA me) Horse Breeding is basically Russian Roulette. You either live and escape with a new Horse, or you die and lose some money. Either way, scrolls mat seem worth it now. But in the long run, they can add up. As well as having to go to your places in order to use said scrolls. This is a pain in itself. If you want to avoid using money in general, running to your destinations may be slower (unless you are that one guy with Warp.) But it will be more cost-efficient as you would waste less EB. Then again this may not come to your play-style as you would probably like faster things.

Are Horses Worth It?
This question can go either way as it is both a yes and no question. Yes if you want to explore places faster, sell them for a lot of money, or just for show. Either way, they are a nice thing of transportation. But this is also answered as no as trying to make a Black Horse or up it will cost a lot of more money. They can be frustrating at times, and depending on your version, they are pretty buggy. This answer is heavily dependent on your needs and wants.

Anyway in short, Horses have no definite answer on if they are worth it or not. In my opinion, they are in the gray zone of being useful and crappy at the same time.

Would you like a rare potato with that salt? The odds of getting a black horse are readily available. If you weren't ready to take the risk why take it?

Horses are worth it, i tried to breed a black horse and i succeeded with 72 eb or 1 le and 8 eb and then i got greedy and tried to breed a chestnut with like 6 le thinking ill get lucky and i ended up getting a brown in my 6le breeding session. So ya if u dont have much $$ try to save up to buy from another player and considering you thinking 2le is alot means, 1 you dont know how to get emeralds fast cuz i can get 2 le in like an hour and a half and u get a bunch from doing quests, 2 u are low lvl, even so u can get a good amount of emeralds for being low lvl from selchar underwater treasures, so dont complain and never use horses just because u got slightly unlucky. I got my 30/30 chestnut from Khaps for 20 le :P.

Horses are a risk to breed, which is why you should just buy them off other players if you are concerned about possibly getting nothing. Also, 2 le isn't much, so you shouldn't worry too much about losing that. Also, I hope you grow to like the Wynncraft community.
