Horses Aren't Worth It.

Spent basically two $LE on tier one horses, never got a single tier two horse.

Seriously, I don't find these chances fair at all, especially when it's just for a tier two horse. I would understand this if it was higher tier, like the White Horse, where you'd have a low chance, but for a tier two? No.

I'm just going to use the scrolls, much cheaper and faster than the stupid horses.

You have the same chance of breeding a white from 2 chestnuts as you do a black from 2 browns

Breeding from Brown horses to a Black horse use up around 2LE and 16EB at average, so until you hit 3LE or so there's no reason to complain.

 

I'm sorry you are having an unpleasant experience with breeding horses.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you are a fairly low level, no? Cause usually higher leveled people have no problem with breeding up to, and including, chestnut. White horse is a story for itself due to duping.

Tho generally, yes, buying of the market may be a safer bet.

Don’t mind them, people can be a little rude sometimes. Anyway, horse breeding is meant to be a money sink for the economy due to the rapid inflation. I would recommend looking at Yuno’s horse breeding thread to gauge the cost of each tier. Keep in mind though these are averages, so it may be way more, or it may be way less. It all depends on chance.

2 le may seem a lot, but once you reach the end game it will seem like nothing. I believe you get at least a stack of le from all the quests alone. Plus some people actually have spent 64 le on horse breeding alone.

 

horses are entirely worth it, you just have awful luck. and gl using scrolls to go everywhere with your uh 13(?) soul points

Its been quite some time that your messages have been triggering me a bit, everyone that just comes in here and complains about something they think is fair, you don't give anything constructive, you just tell them that they are stupid, or that there reasoning is shit, please, try being more constructive...

Welp, I also did try breeding horses back in the day, ended up losing more than I won, and just ended up buying some in the trade market to players that were luckier than me lawl

eh, sadly its the same chance for anybody, and at this level, breeding bad doesn't cost too much, except if you've just started the game and you struggle with money, in wich case you shouldn't be breeding horses, its basically gambling wich isn't a good thing :/

Well, at higher level, you lose even more, because of all the chances before and the price of beforehand horses, so I think that it would be more fair for higher level horses to have more chance to breed well than low level horses (but that's my point of view) ;)

Well for sure, scrolls are better to travel from town to town, but otherwise, use your class special, mage is OP at any level, assassin gets better as time goes by, Warrior is pretty gud and archer.. well its speed so dats gud ;)

While i cant say anything on the behalf of everyone i can say i'm sorry
It is my nature since birth to be passive agressive and being on the psychopathic spectrum does not make it easy to know when have over stepped and crossed the line (which i do constantly)

But....
i do stand by that horses are basically one huge money sink
And late game they are really good.
I suggest not trying to get a Tier 2 horse till you say level 60 where you have more funds and more need for a horse.
And a Tier 3 horse till you are like lvl 80.
Once you are level 90 you will have better luck just buying a horse on the market.

 

Horses are, in my opinion, certainly worth it. TP scrolls are a nice form of transportation, but only between cities you've already discovered, so they're useless when you're exploring. They also cost more money than horses in the long-term, and if you want to be able to travel to multiple cities with scrolls, it'll take up more inventory space than a horse. There's also the downside of losing Soul Points, but that's negligible.

Now there's a 1 in 5 chance of, when breeding, getting a better horse, which means a black horse is 5 times as pricy as a brown one. You spent 2 LE trying to get a better tier horse, which means you've only 'wasted' about 8 EB. My advice is to keep breeding, as a black horse bought in the market will probably cost you more money right now. The devs probably aren't going to change horse breeding any time soon, otherwise they would've done it a long time ago.

One last tip: buy a boat, and not from the SeaSkipper Merchant, but from right here. They're only 4 emerald there.

 

It all depends on luck. Horses are worth it if you're lucky, because you can sell an untrained white horse for ~70 LE. That's a huge profit. But it still depends on luck.

 

Why do a moderator need to say something to players for them to become nice on each thread ?

I feel like it's a school classroom in which the teacher need to yell at the pupils to have them calm down ...
