Archer/Hunter Why Az Sucks Ass

I built a thunder damage build and just used thunder bows
also cluster (level 99) same damage as witherhead's (level 74)
Bomb damage:
Corrupted Witherhead's Bow (corrupted decrepit sewers): 2701-18153 (~10427)
Az: 1915-21551 (~11733)

Arrow storm damage:
Witherhead's: 6180-45300 (~25740)
Az: 5340-53580 (~29460)

Conclusion: lol az does a little bit more damage then a same level legendary

 

Check your calculation again, Az should have the highest max thunder damage out of all the bows.

 

it does, but its a mythic and does abit more damage then a legendary

 

One thing to remember is that witherheads is above the curve for legendarys, as it is a dungeon item

 

It is only good for it's level. As is outclassed by cluster late game due to better stats, and is way more costly even to get. Overall the Archer mythics are hotter garbage than the term rainbow slap, except maybe spring.

 

You also got to remember this, Az doesn't have small draw backs but witherhead does (witherhead needs like -500 hp or something)

 

Yeah the only two good archer mythics are spring and stratiformis

 

really looking at just the damage of the bows, AZ wins. Az is worse than the others because of its price tag and stats, not its pure damage stats. If you want people to read this thread and think "wow az really is worse" then you might want a stronger comparison than damage. The case can be made against Az, but not in regards to its damage. ;)

 

Overall, Az is better. We all can see, and admit it. But the fact that a mythical item is just SLIGHTLY better than a legendary is terrible.

Well you are forgetting some stuff in your reasoning :
- Az is a mythic, so its more kool to have a mythic
- It doesn't have any drawbacks
- Witherhead isn't just a legendary, its a dungeon legendary, making it more powerful than a normal legendary because its harder to get
