The Vip Ranks, Especially Hero, Are Pretty Lame Considering The Pricetag

Didn't they say Beta testing is only for gameplay-sided testing, but the next update is supposed to update some content in Wynn?

I've seen multiple servers have ranks give you advantage and not have it been closed down whether it be like oh buy obsidian rank for prot 10 dia gear etc, i also heard the EULA has changed so that you can get in game advantages.

 

Last time I heard that it was mostly small servers that managed to slip under the radar. I haven’t heard about EULA changing recently.

Just because other servers do it doesn't mean it's good for the Wynn ecosystem to do that too.... I personally enjoy the fact that Wynncraft's ranks are not pay to win. That's just stupid. Sure it could increase donations but that won't increase player count, which is really what we need right now imo.

 

Yeah if we do that Mojang will be on our ass as soon as we update the store.

 

Just kidding. I think we all know that a refactor takes some time and efford in order for it to work properly

Dont make it pay to win more favorable like vips get a perm 1.5x xp bonus and hero get like 2x xp bonus. Or how the other dude was saying vip get x1T1 crate vip+ get x1T2 crate and hero gets x2t1 crates and x1T2 crate. im not saying make a god item that 1shots every mob in the game or something that allows people to complete quests instantly

Anyway, for some reason, due to @Florfy5 just existing, @Not Florfy5 decided to take that name. I jumped in on the joke, turned into "Not Not Florfy5" but then realized I couldn't change my name back. I got worried someone would steal my name. I got the best moderator to help me change it back, but before that @SPYR0HAWK too that name in reference to me being scared of someone taking my name.

So, the thing with me and @SPYR0HAWK has nothing to do with the other people you mentioned XD

The HERO rank is just a way to show you donated a huge lot of money to the server. In reality, you shouldn't be paying a rank but consider your payments as donations.

The rank is a small way of thanking you for your donation but it doesn't give any big advantage apart from the daily cosmetics (that I enjoy a lot) and access to the beta testing once every 2 or 3 years. It makes you look good, but that's it.
Also, keep in mind that it used to be 100$ before, they reduced the price to make it more accessible.

I wish there was a real feature to just donate a certain amount of money instead of having to buy something, the only perk being that you'd be thanked in-game by other players in the chat, just as if you dropped an xp bomb but apart from that, other players would see in chat that player x willingly donated (no amount indicated) to the server.
