How To Make Multi-form Mobs.

(I'll be making a mob that transforms from a skeleton, then to a wither skeleton)

(RCMD) means put the following command into a repeating command block, and on always active.

Step 1.: GET A COMMAND BLOCK /give @p command_block

Step 2: Summon the AI. (I'm using a baby zombie.)
/summon minecraft:zombie ~ ~1 ~ {Silent:1,IsBaby:1,Tags:["MobAI"]}

Step 3: Make the AI entity invisible. (RCMD)
/effect @e[tag=MobAI] invisibility 1 1 true

Step 4: How to make it change forms.
(RCMD) /execute @e[tag=MobAI] ~ ~ ~ /testfor @e[tag=Mob1,r=2]
Then, put a comparator, and then after the comparator, an invertor (redstone torch.) Then a piece of redstone.
Summon Mob 1:
/summon minecraft:skeleton ~ ~1 ~ {NoAI:1b,Silent:1,Tags:["Mob1"]}
After the invertor and redstone,
Then, summon Mob 2:
/summon minecraft:wither_skeleton ~ ~1 ~ {NoAI:1b,Silent:1,Tags:["Mob2"]}

Step 5: Kill AI when final form has been killed.
(RCMD) /execute @e[tag=MobAI] ~ ~ ~ /testfor @e[tag=Mob2,r=2]
Then, put a comparator, invertor, and another command block.
/kill @e[tag=MobAI]

Step 6: Disable entity collision.

/scoreboard teams add mob1

/scoreboard teams join mob1 @e[tag=Mob1]
/scoreboard teams join mob1 @e[tag=Mob2]
/scoreboard teams join mob1 @e[tag=MobAI]
/scoreboard teams option mob1 colisonRule never

Step 7: Teleport MobNPC to the MobAI

(RCMD) /tp @e[tag=Mob1,tag=Mob2] @e[tag=MobAI]
